Post here if you found a good outpost location.

Just a few spots I've found:
- Nightgate Inn (West from Windhelm)
- Smugglers Cove (Next to Whiterun)
- Three Sentinels (North from Riften)
- Road south from Dragon Bridge (Just east from Adventurer Camp) Don't put perimeter post over the river though, put A north side on the road and B south, C and D to the forest east from well =) You can still build over the river this way (atleast I managed to build house next to that tent and boat.

Forelhost

It's on a mountain so building can be a bit tricky, but it gives you a big advantage during a fight, and the fighting is what it's mostly about for me. Also I like to call my settlement the "Forelhost Society" as if they are some cult of weird WABBAJACK

Near rorikstead. theres a a lot of flat land around there which can help a lot

At Rannveigs Fast. Easy to defend with aid from existing stone platform and mountains to north, west and east. Pictures posted.

South of Rorikstead, half way to Fort Sunguard, there is a nice rock cliff just off the road that you can set up a fort on top of. Edit: Posted a pic

East of Rorikstead there is a large plateau flat enough to build a large outpost. But don't get too close to the Giant camp.

Couple already fortified spots: Bilegulch Mine and Knifepoint Ridge Both are west/northwest from Markarth. Also Bilegulch would make good place for exiled Orc =) Edit: Now that I think of it, the town I was pointing is Falkreath not Markarth =)
