for any noobs who havent good geographical?sense, I would advice you should build first Well at the already built fort. also any building that you will build later can over rite their existed building texture. so you may able to use barracks as wall. Just like SC2 Terran tactics!
And next, about bounder pole,
just point em on the road if you dont have any good idea.
some of unfortunate traveler, such as Kah jeet? they call them self? may be their carravan troop will crashed by raiders but i think that could be a little funny event if thats happen. XD

I also recommend to use Warzone mod and join the army, take some of a fort with quest and build your outpost there. then you can feel like a fort commander.

Here's great fort to use with TD. Author of this mod cleared the place for us TD users after I requested it =) to get the cleared fort download that optional file.

I just tried that and there's one major flaw. Scavengers all path through the door and out the storm drain and then just stand there. Even if you reset them to the well, they just immediately go back inside.

Maybe the destroyed City of Helgen is a good location. Just clearing out via console, but flat area with useful walls/doors/structures. I'm trying Charlies Fort now, but will give Helgen a chance, too ;)

It's possible that deleting the door may help. (There's other ways into the fort) *update* Yup. deleting the main door seems to stop them from piling up just outside the drain exit. They started wandering around inside the fort instead.

@Squidbush: Thanks - will try asap ;) .... ... .. . Aaaargh! They drive me crazy. Deleted the main door, and now the mother****** go up the stairs using the tower entrance. I've killed them all, lost 2K gold rehiring them - same sh**.

Yeah I am having the same issue. The stack up at the secret entrance Why are they the only ones that go into the fort. My townsfolk just mill about the courtyard which is cool. Wish the scavengers would do that to. Maybe it is something in thier ai script. I might try to look at it later using the creation tool. Would also be cool if you could have some gaurds on training ui. So they would use things like the archery targets. Maybe look at that in the creation tool as well.
