Release Date: 10th September 2012

I would like to use this article so users can see in a more detailed and expansive way what changes have been made since version 1.1.Now I'm doing this off the top of my head so if I've missed anything then please accept my apologies.

Dungeons & Interiors
--------------------------
Originally, this was a single plugin which darkened all interiors. Many people requested that I separate Dungeons & Interiors, so what I did was create x4 new plugins to enable mod users to have flexibility. Dungeons & Caves now has x2 options which are hazardous and hardcore. Interiors now have two options which are warm and cold.

Artwork
-----------
Sunrises and sunsets proved to be a popular feature so I have created additional sky texture artwork which will further enhance this feature.

Rain
-------
Rain has been revamped for the Final Edition. Firstly, there will be light rain, heavy rain and storm rain. Storm rain (Of which there are 3 types) will also have an additional camera effect attached to it to emulate stormy conditions. The effects are blustery, grass and leaves and will appear depending on where you are in Skyrim. Secondly, I have created a new rain texture which I'm really happy with. Rain now looks and behaves like rain should. I've also changed the lighting for rainy weather to better emulate wet landscapes.

Overcast Weather
-----------------------
I quickly became dissatisfied with the lighting on overcast days, so I have changed the lighting. Also, I've eradicated the bright grass bug. This has been done by altering the lighting and creating a new tundra grass texture. The new grass texture is excellent and really adds to the scenery.

Snow Blizzards
-------------------
I have added x2 extra intense snow blizzard weather types to snowy areas. These are 'high visibility' and 'low visibility'. Snow particles and their behaviour have been altered as well. Visually it plays nice.

Foggy Weather
-------------------

Like overcast weather, I became dissatisfied with fog weather. So, I have totally re-written all fog weather types which now play better on the eye.

Black Menu Background
------------------------------
This was a bug which presented itself to those who had Dungeons & Interiors patch. This has now been fixed.

Water
--------
Water appeared somewhat dull during some weathers, so this has been fixed.

Night Clouds
----------------
I noticed during my first play through using CoT that on cloudy nights, the clouds where not very prominent. So I've now altered the opacity and colouring of clouds at night to better emulate a cloudy night sky.

Misc Changes
----------------
The miscellaneous changes run into the hundreds here. There are far too many to note. Basically, every inch of Climates Of Tamriel's weather and exterior lighting has been tweaked and fine tuned. Many things are subtle and may not be noticeable at first but they were just as important to me than any of the above.

Peace out!

JJ

Can't wait for this bad boy. Been a big fan and I find it a better alternative to RLWC, and the suggested ENB isn't shabby either.

Counting the hours before the release! Can't wait to get my hands on it. This is by far my favorite lighting/weather mod in the nexus. Unfortunately, the bright grass was a bit immersion breaking for me so I had to go back to RL and RWL (switching between the two depending on my mood) until it was fixed. And now that it is, I wont be switching anytime soon! Thanks for the hard work making players of Skyrim experience something special!

So much good new stuff, it sounds so good that I'm fearing. It's still no fps loss, right?
