Gopher... Aren't you afraid Bethesda Game Studios will see these great ideas, and rip them off and put them in the next fallout game!!!

@novadove

Not that I'm the biggest fan of super high tech in fantasy settings, but I think a better explanation would be that you found schematics for these and then crafted them, as opposed to you just finding them somewhere.

@novadove... "dwemer just leave this kind of things behind?"

Yes...
Why must these mods be any different that any other Dwemer item in the game?
In fact, since you need specific crafting perks and the quest for the Ancient Dwemer Knowledge to create the power armor, that set of armor actually makes more sense lore wise than most other Dwemer items in the game.

If power armor isn't your cup of tea, that's one thing, but to make the argument that you "cant use any of them because there isnt any explanation to why the armor exists in the first place".... is just being obstinate.

That, and the Dwemer have no say in the matter. They died out thousands of years ago.

well, i give the benefit of doubt that the dwemer advance their technology far enough to create advance power armor and i give it that they indeed leave behind a blueprint and so happens that our character manage to find it.

But, can they just be so easily recreated by us with a normal forge at what? white run? even skyforge lacks the necessary heat to melt the obstinate metal.

blue print that survives thousands of years? it should be on a plague, or even a cavern walls; using chalk to sketch down on paper to get it.

Anyway, i agree with you. i am stubbon on myself. well, if skrim is harder, then i see the incentive to look for the armor somewhere in skyrim and even find a way for myself to re-create these armor in order for me to survive.

@ Gopher
This time try to get all the dwemor mods in at once. That way you can save up at least a couple of months before you have to do the next one. :P Seriously though, all I'm saying is that I see a pattern forming. If you love dwemor mods, that's cool. You don't have to put any non-dwemor mods in any of your videos. I'm just not that into the fantasy tech stuff. There's a lot of other really cool, under-appreciated mods to choose from.

Here's ten fun mods that need more exposure.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15725
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22383
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15052

Or you could try other themes, like horse/mount mods, elf mods, orc mods, vampire mods, magic mods, weapon mods, whatever mods. You could even throw in more dwemor mod videos.

Those armors are very well modded and fit with the dwemer style in Skyrim, however they do seem too OP. The only reason i'd see myself using something like this would be if there was a quest related to this, like an underground dwemer fortress full of centurions and other automatons that couldnt be defeated by any other means. That'd justify the excess of armor and mass destruction weapons.

Well, Lavigne, I looked into the different bits and bobs here and I'd recommend getting the power armor as part of the aetherium swords mod. Then it feels like you've actually earned getting this thing and it's still rather hard to get together all the materials you need to craft it. At that point, you know you've earned the armor.
