I recently started playing Skyrim again and am having crash issues, I assume they are caused by mods. I'm in my first visit to Whiterun, whenever I enter a building, then exit the game freezes. It doesn't happen when exiting a specific building, but only happens when I leave the building.

I am assuming its related to a mod, though I don't know if any affect the actual base game files to cause it to crash.

Any thoughts?

Well, try disabling all mods and run around Whterun for a while and see if the problem persists. If not, then add em back one by one.

Also make sure to upgrade; they just pushed down another patch.

If you are not using BOSS, I'd recommend getting that, running it, and reading the log for any errors or warnings and addressing them. However, if you just picked it back up, you probably also just got the 1.8 update; many mods are having compatibility problems with the new patch, and they can't be fixed until the creation kit is also updated.
