@Durante:
To follow up on my prior post about FPS going down by 1/2 with v1.5 from v1.4 all I can say it that when I overwrite the v1.4 files with v1.5 I open my v1.4 ini and make the exact same changes to the v1.5 ini. Loading the same saved game results in 1/2 the FPS (30 FPS -> 15 FPS).
I've never experienced this FPS drop with any of the other patches you've released. If I then overwrite the v1.5 files with the v1.4 files and edit the ini I'm back up to 30 FPS. I haven't touch my graphic card settings nor have I touched the drivers.
Any ideas what I can try? Thanks.

@Aegrus:
i7 3930K @ 4.6 GHz (water cooled)
16GB DDR3 @ 2400 Mhz 11-11-11-31-CR2
(2) ASUS GTX680-DC2T-2GD5 (SLI) @ 1300 Boost
My system isn't the issue. Plus, I only noticed the drop when going from v1.4 to v1.5 with the SAME SETTINGS. So odd.
@ajane:
Something was most definitely changed in v1.5.

Man, I keep reading all these comments about how 1.5 decreases performance...ever since I've installed 1.5 I actually got a performance boost :O
Finally, my computer is doing something useful xD

As soon as I removed DINPUT8.dll my game stopped lagging.

@Durante
I am observing the same behavior as @ajane and @D749, in the game.
There is an odd sense of performance drop with v1.5 files, even after using the same settings from v1.4 (putting # comment for maxFPS for v1.5)
Note: I don't use SMAA thou, I just use SSAO at value 2..
Internal Render = 2560x1440
DOF Render resolution = 1080
DOF blur amount = 2
SSAO value = 2
(enabled Skip Intro)
Game Resolution = 2560x1440, 32-bit Color
Graphics Drivers AF override = 16xAF
Note 2: Does the SSAO check over fog/particles got anything to do with it? (especially with DOF blur amount values?)
Note 3: Does the MaxFPS 30 value without # comment, gotta do with faster performance for others?

Is there a way to fix it so that you can resize the HUD without losing the dialogue text?

x.x I accidentally turned anti-aliasing on and the entire screen goes black and I can't see anything when I launch the game. So is there a way to disable AA outside of the game or revert the game back to the original settings?
