I almost had Hyperius solo, dange special attack gets me every time without notice, with the conference call and the bee shield, plus the teramorpuos mod. It can take out any loader, or any badass enemy with one shot.

except bosses, though i can take'em out with without losing ammo all together.

Hyperius is still untouchable to a point, all i need to do is rush a gunzerker to lv 50 for the badass ammo regen class mods.

You see running out of shotgun ammo is my downfall.

I don't play an anarchy build, too unpredictable for my taste. I run a BFF/LBT build, with the majority of points in BFF. The result lacks the super-DPS from anarchy, but it is on the flip side, practical and usable. With an anarchy build, try a Torgue Nukem, when I do run anarchy, it's what I use. Just, try it, you'll love it. Secondly, I can really recomend putting in some serious effort to get to level 50, life really does begin at 50 in B2, you haven't played the game until you're there. Also, if you're on Xbox 360, let me know, I've got a bunch of old gear lying around you can have,

Also good is that my problem with Scarlett's DLC got rectified today. Apparently I can go back through and re-access the treasure chamber. Damn fine. I accidently locked myself out before I could loot it, when the game crashed.

well id have to find a Torgue Nukem or whatever first. i dont look at names or brands so i could have had 100 by now, or if its a rarer gun, then yea, id have to find one....i think Anarchy is a blast! its soo much fun trying to build up Stacks. ill put left over points into BFF (thats the first tree right?) as the higher tier abilities of the Anarchy Tree dont interest me. and Dischord doesnt interest me, but its a necessity as with it, you dont lose all your stacks of Anarchy when you reload.

and ill get to L50 eventually. as of right now i havent touched the game in almost a week. MIGHT play tomorrow but idk. i thought i was nearing the end when i beat Bnk3r but then i unlocked like 3 new areas and all those side missions and i lost interest in the game realizing i wasnt quite near the end yet. its starting to drag on for me. that on top of the fact i only have an hour or two a day to play games (and of that only maybe 4 or 5 days of the week) Borderlands 2 hasnt really been my choice for the game to sneak in during my free time.

and lastly, nope. no xbox here. could never justify buying one. it has absolutely 0 games on it. so its Ps3 for me (and PC ofc lol)

Hoof-nope, you've got a fair distance to go yet. It takes nearly 100% quest completion to get to the point where you can fight The Warrior(final epic boss level 36-38)

The Torgue Nukem is an Orange level weapon, and trust me, if you found one, you'd know you'd found one. It's bright chrome orange with tangerine highlights, and fires a pocket tactical nuke instead of a rocket. It's the ultimate anarchy weapon; with a lvel 50 Nukem, 350 anarchy stacks, and a clear shot, you could theoretically deal out well... a lot of damage.

There are two approaches to hyper-damage builds in Borderlands; one is a Shotgun and Bee shield. The Bee gives a gigantic damage bonus to every PELLET, my Sledge's Shotgun shoots 14, so with my Bee giving me 61,000 damage per pellet, that's... well that's quite a lot, namely 854,000 damage. Now, the other way to do it is an Anarchy built Mechromancer. Or hell, you might combine the two!. The build I will theorise here is a Mechro(50) with a top-spec Nukem firing for 150,000 damage normally, well within what a Nukem can do at 50. Ok, so, Anarchy. It gives you 1.75% damage per shot, right? and you can have 250 stacks of it, or, my anarchy build can anyway. So you get to 250, and equip your nukem. According to a sum that, it's important to note, does NOT take into account enemy resistance, armour, or deminishing returns, could theoretically do about 3,000,000 damage over a vast area.

I killed Master gee today solo, very, very, loooooooonnnnnnnngggg!!! time it took, without me using much ammo. just camped it out and let him take damage from corrosive pools It took an epicly loong time, while although epic at the same time. laughing through the entire thing

Also its amazing how much Borderlands 2 is like Diablo when you can set up trading post.

Halo 4 has completelly diverted me from BL I'm afraid. I just like playing it more.

Yes. It was getting to the point that I couldn't even be bothered anymore. Halo 4 just outclasses it in every area... It's just not a fair comparison; one is unreliable, sometimes shoddily built and tends to be overly drawn out, the other's got bulletproof reliability, feels like a lot of experts worked their fingers to the bone to make it, and feels perfectly paced. And anyway, I was level 50 with a full orange loadout anyway, it's not like I could get any better.

oh jeez. outclasses it in every area? are you purposely trying to troll? alright ill bite. the reason its not a fair comparison is because they are two completely different games that only share the element of a shooter between them. borderlands doesnt try to "outclass" other games. in fact it tries to do the exact opposite of class. and does so extremely well. i may not have gotten sucked into BL2 (mostly because i was played BL1 right before it came out) but i still recognize it as an amazing well done game. Halo is much easier to polish because its on an epically smaller scale of a game. ive never played a Halo game before (except for some online deathmatch at my friends house), but you can say Halo 4 set out to achieve what it set out to achieve, but so didnt borderlands. to say one outclasses the other is just a biased fanboy comment. im sorry.

I don't think it's trolling. It certainly isn't intended to be.

What I would say is that Borderlands is a game you get very burned out on. You're lucky, you've been playing through it slowly, but if you do play it hard, it rapidly runs out of content and fun, especially in the higher levels. The endgame is virtually nonexistant; there are three RAID bosses, however, unless you're better off soloing them as playing this game online would be unwise. The only times I've defeated any of them, the host has summarily booted every player but themself from the party to take the loot themself. I'm not willing to do that myself, so I'm left at level 50 with essentially nothing to do but replay dungeons I've already done. My arsenal needs no expansion, if anything it needs a garage sale, so there's no need to do that for loot either. Perhaps more problematic is that you just don't feel invested.

There's no FEEL to Borderlands 2. Combat eventually just feels like an expensive chore, enemies can sometimes eat two entire mags before they die, and bosses do trivial amounts of damage, but take minutes to kill, by which point you're so bored, you lack the ability to form any sort of joy reaction at the pressence of loot, which, for the most part, is vastly inferior to what I had anyway. But the worst part is there's no feeling of progress. Being level 50, I don't feel remotely special; infact I actually feel weaker than I did at level 5, as enemies are all now significantly higher level than me, rather than slightly lower. Walking away, all I can feel towards Borderlands is a sense of sourness and that it was a superb game technically, but lacked the subjective feel that would have made it a masterpiece.

When I compare it to other console shooters, like MGS, Halo and COD, they all manage to make me FEEL more than Borderlands did, they have that subjective thing it lacks, they feel rewarding, you can see yourself get better, progress, and they feel like games I would replay just for a chance to relive the adventure. I wouldn't want to do 1-50 again in BL2. I can't imagine much I would want to do less in the gaming world, except maybe go 1-95 in WoW(shudder) I'm really regretting that season pass right now.

from your description of BL2, i see no difference from BL1. BL1 had no end game content. there was a point where you would never find better weapons. there was nothing to do once you got to level cap, and there was never any real reason to go and do it all again with another character.

BL2s biggest problem was that it was BL1. it didnt change much, only added more stuff. which for many isnt a big deal. but i spent a crap ton of time with BL1, and eventually got to the point where i was done with it, so going into BL2, i already feel like ive played the living hell out of it....BL2 in and of itself is an amazing game, unless you already played the crap out of BL1
