i know how to get there and i understand that after the dark brother hood attacks you do all that stuff and go kill almalexia i get that but where is mournhold? what land mass is it on or is it just there?

because i am going to make a mod where you could leave mournhold and travel around a little island or something so i wanted to know where it was so i wouldnt make it on an island if it was floating or make it floating if it was an island.

Mournhold is a bit South of Vvardenfell, almost in the middle of Morrowind, beneath the Sea of Ghosts.

Here's a great source for some maps of Tamriel as well as all the provinces.

It's not on an island- if you were to make a mod that included the exterior of Mournhold, you'd have to create Tamriel in its entirety, which is quite an undertaking.

Yes. The Tamriel Rebuilt project is in the process of recreating all of Tamriel.
