I avoid using the Wabbajack. Almost every single time I've used I get something WORSE than what I started with.
In Oblivion, turning boars into minotaurs and in Skyrim, turning an ice wolf into a frost troll.
...never used the Tanooki suit, as I never got into Mario...I'm not qualified to vote.
Vote on the Wabbajack!

Aren't Tanooki Japanese flying raccoons that attack people with huge testicles?
I was actually using this as evidence AGAINST their superiority, but now that I think about it...

I guess ten persons disagree. Heh.
I like the tanooki suit because unlike the wabbajack (don't get me wrong, it is a cool concept and all, but after a while one might pick a different weapon) the suit allows mario to fly and glide, making the suit more useful overall (It saved my life many times).
Mario 3 was one of the first games I ever played on my nes, so it has a special place in my memories

The Wabbajack should of course beat the Tanooki suit. However, I'd definitely pick the Screw Attack over the Wabbajack any day. It has been featured in almost all of the Metroid games since the original Nintendo version back in 1987. While the main character Samus is using the Screw Attack she is usually invulnerable, therefore blasts from the Wabbajack would be useless against her while she's jumping in the air.

bethesdas treasures are nothing compared to treasures found in games like assasins creed and Vampire Bloodlines. bethesda will always be too buggy in my book. its barely playable without mods.

Lore-based Artifacts or in-game artifacts? As Bethesda had to change them because they are WAY too powerful. The Skull of Corruption was changed in Skyrim. Instead of making a "dark" clone (Creature or NPC.) it just does damage, and it can duplicate anything besides a few artifacts. Though Daedric Lords can change what it does at will. But still, the Shouts in the game are not lore-friendly, as if they were it would break the game, as well as much more stuff. Whirlwind Sprint (Lore-friendly) Can take you from the northern most part of Skyrim all the way to the Southern most point of Elyswer.
Also, the bugginess differs, and it is expected, the vast amount of background processes combined with everything else makes it that way. Sure, there are bugs that they can fix easily, but there is some that cannot be fixed without months of fixing. There is no game that handles the background processes like Skyrim has. Tech limitation is also a problem, not just because Open Cities and stuff, but the Engine isn't using its full potential.
