Hi Maskar,

It seems that MOO's outdoor light settings do not affect Atmospheres version 2 by discovery1. Could you look into that?

In response to post #20349959.

For compatibility reasons MOO's outdoor lighting setting is automatically disabled when another mod changes the outdoor lighting values. If you check the console you might see the following message:

"[MOO] Non-default weather colors detected. Skipping darker nights."

I see. So, there is no way to make MOO override those values? Atmosphere's nights are much too bright for me.

Not currently, but I could add an option in the next update to force it, even if lighting is changed.

Hi Maskar.

I was wondering if you would be so kind as to right a great injustice done to a creature in Oblivion so valuable, but greatly undermined and undervalued by many an adventurer.

Horses.

Specifically the inclusion of horses as more than just a transportation service.

There should be some form of horse trade in Oblivion, for a mighty and helpful beast they seem to be regarded with less worth than a mere herb. Yes they're expensive, but they don't seem to be taken care of as well as they are worth.

For something so valuable, bandits and marauders alike seems keen to euthanize an animal worth more alive than dead.

There should also be Horse Thieves, NPCs who might steal your mount if you leave them in the wild for too long!

Why don't Oblivion spawn mounted bandits? It seems strange that a group of outlaws would prefer being on foot when Imperial Guards patrol the roads on horseback.

Horse Valet. Pay a fee to have your horse taken to you whichever gate you exit from.

A horse is directly linked to their rider through ai packages. This means that a bandit has to spawn with a direct link to a specific horse, which isn't possible by spawning them through leveled lists, like normal bandits.

However, MOO does have wanted npcs who are wanted for horse thieving. It should be possible for them to "steal" horses, without breaking anything.

Nice of you to oblige.

Well, at least the last one if you can.
I'm a bit fed up having to go to a stable and having to take the long way round when my objective is through the other exit.
It's not immersion breaking to have valets right? I'm even suggesting paying for the service.

Loving the current update still.
Yesterday got some giants to chase me, which lead to a town wide fight that ended in the Bruma Castle Barracks. It was a riot.

Not sure about the valets. I can't really picture how this would work. How would he know where you are when coming out of a gate? He shouldn't really teleport. Also, wouldn't it be too dangerous near a gate for a servant?

I'm talking about city gates. I'd like to go out and find my horse either ready for me with the valet waiting by its side.

Other kinds of gates, particularly glowing hell-spewing land-scarring ones? Nope. nopenopenopenopenope. Not too keen on dying yet.
