I've always considered invisibility and even chameleon quite unfair. But that's just me.
This is a bit off topic, but is there a mod that makes it so that you can't join the Mages guild if you're in the fighters guild, or something similar? It's quite strange when the Mages guild lets a barbarian in.

I know what you mean on the chameleon and whatnot, it feels like cheating to me. For the same reason i don't you self enchanted armor, either. It's too easy to make something overpowered, like 100% chem.

Such as, for a while, i used a daedric shortsword that i'd enchanted with 100 drain health for one second. That coupled with sneak bonus and a good poison was an instant kill almost every time. Eventually i felt bad for it, but it took a LONG time. ] ;

Best: Dark Brotherhood, even though i don't like to be the bad guy. it has the best story and quests but it is the only one i finished yet

I am currently playing the Figters Guild ...it's fun but all the quests look the same and god i hate that Maglir.

Form what i know about the other guilds, the Thievs guild looked interesting, but i have never played with a stealth only charater.

What do you think about the mod added guilds? i like the idea of a arcehology guild (lost spires..), but i'm lazy and i haven't finished it yet

From my point of view the Darkbrotherhood is the best guild because the quests are not the same and you always get a bonus if you are good
this guild contains fighting and also the thrill of stealing (not been seen) !!!

The worst guild is the Arena because the quests are always the same !! go, talk, kill, talk , go,....
of course it's cool to be in the arena but from my point of view the worst guild.

Can anyone list other reasons why arena is better than others?

i personally think that arena isn't realy a guild. Or at least i haven't untill now.
it is true that is repetitive but it IS a fightning arena and it is meant to be like this.

I'm still of the opinion thet it should be more like a roman arena anyway

There you can go to diffrent arenas and play with more players!!

ship fights..hm nice idea but mostly inposible to make it come true. I'm just a modeler so i dont know nothing about

Favorite: Dark Brotherhood, probably the best questline in vanilla Oblivion.

Worst: Thieves Guild, I'm sorry but I became bored fast with this guild.

Dark Brotherhood
Mages Guild
Fighters Guild
Thieves Guild

I really don't consider The Arena a guild so much as killing opponent after opponent. There's very little story there, and only one quest near the end that you don't really need to even take.
