I'm doing the quest for Almelxia where you have to re-activate the dwemer machine. Where IS the ruins? She told me something like "The entrance has recently opened in the old city" or something like that. That dosen't tell me much,can anyone help?

In the center of the place you are told to go, there's a broken statue. There's now a crack in the base with a ladder down.
