@Wolfmod, before trying to make your follower follow Vilja, dismiss the follower. Then you will be able to go beyond the limit. In other case, you will have a follower in a limbo in between both mods, as Vilja won't be able to dismiss the follower entirelly from AFT. The same applies when you want to make one of Vilja's follower be handled again by AFT, first ask the follower to stop following Vilja and then use AFT commands for making the follower follow you.

 

Remember, aboid using both systems at the same time.

Thanks Amgepo, it worked a treat. I also discovered that the "All followers Relax" command in AFT gave me all of Vilja's options and Vilja's "lets hang around here and relax" gave me all of AFT's functions. The two mods work beautifully together.

Partially Compatible:

AFT 1.55 + ACE 12a (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10037)
- Ace comes with several components. Most work with AFT except the realistic combat.

AFT 1.54/1.55 + Dynamic Fires Rev 0.3
- Causes a second fire to appear in your tent when setting up camp potentially causing you to get stuck in the tent.

AFT (all versions) + Hearthfire DLC
- Issues with adopted children requesting pets

Hearthfire notes:

Making a follower a Steward that is also managed by AFT:
(useful if you want to maintain AFT's inventory management)

Dismiss everyone
Ask the follower you want as a steward to follow you
Go inside the house and talk to them
Appoint Steward
Dismiss Follower
Talk to them again

Keeping Stewards and AFT Managed followers seperated
(Best stability)

Appoint steward
Salvage gear from inventory
Tweak Options -> Settings -> Reset the NPC.
Build the first, small house (minimum) AND the main hall.
If steward vanishes, don't sweat it. It will fix itself eventually.

** For the two above things to work, it may be necessary to leave and re-enter the area of the Lakeside Manor.

Either way
- Get rid of the in-house workbench. Prevents stewards from disappearing when dismissed.

I think I found an incompatibility: With Pocket Emprie Builder I can no longer recruit new followers. The dialog will add them to AFT but they won't actually follow and when talked to again will still have the option to ask them to follow and none of the other ATF options.

Versions:
AFT 1.61 & 1.63
PEB 1.34

hey. is this mod compatible with Requiem mod by Xarrian and Ogerboss? i use this mod before installing requiem, and its work just fine. but after i install requiem, the action menu on follower dialogue option does not appear. and i cant use follower make tweak either. is there anyone having the same problem?

After i installed candles of Skyrim , this mod seems to bug Vilkas , but i fixed it by giving priority to aft ...

I do have issues with Viconia. Viconia doesn't start any dialogues which makes her questline unplayable. The setting "[X] NPC allow idle chatter" from your latest AFT version doesn't work for me. She starts the dialogues if I place her bellow AFT in modlist but than AFT doesn't work. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Honestly I am uncertain if AFT is causing an issue, I am getting a CTD or just a game lockup (depending on how it feels) a little after recruiting my first follower using AFT. So far these seem to happen when i'm accessing crafting menus like the forge and the tanning rack with Lydia following me. I read that ACE realistic fighting module has compatibility issues? is this still the case? it's likely a compatibility issue with something but I have not the slightest clue what. Last couple lines of my log, don't know what it means/if anything. these lines were not in the log prior to recruiting my first follower. Also my load order, hope its ok that I post it here >.>

Once I removed the incompatible ACE module Realistic Fighting the crashes seem to have gone away so far.
However, if you see anything glancing at my load order that could give me troubles let me know.
It was an easy choice picking between the fighting module and AFT =P
ACE should update their compatibility list, I used their guide as a reference when installing
