I've installed this and was wondering how I can get into the files you edited?
As I understnad it I have to edit DefaultGameCore.mod but atm it only opens in Mediaplayer...
EDIT: That was a stupid question, got it now.

Hey there. I really do like the modifications you made and between the 3 biggest mods avalaible yours feels the more thought about so i would like to know if you plan to add an option to remove the aim and critical bonus given to the aliens on classic mode as i would prefer to play with your mod than the only one who actually offers that option.

A question: in the vanilla game I am fairly certain I only needed one Hyperwave Beacon. Now I see I need two. Where can I get more of those then?

I finally got it to work but it wasn't this mod, I think I wasn't extracting right or something. Tho I do have a question. If I want to uninstall a mod can I just re verify through Steam to make it vanilla?

I have a question to the author...
Does this mod also implement the balance changes made by Drusek's Balance Overhaul mod or it differs?
Can't make up my mind between these two, overall the balance changes in Drusek's mode is more eye appealing but im not sure if this also has it..

This mod only makes the changes that you see here. It's always recommended to try to do the changes yourself if you want a lot of things done since, like you mentioned, only one mod can take effect at a time. So if you want multiple things the best way to get it done is to change the files yourself. Just right click the .mod file and open with notepad, make your change, save it, and run the patcher again.

The two hyperwave beacon things is a product of the Marathon Second Wave option that is bug since it doubles everything, including the beacon as you found out. Try opening up the .mod file and find this line "SW_MARATHON=2.0f" and change it to "SW_MARATHON=1.0f", this 'should' disable the marathon mod allowing you to make the building. Once you construct it, just save the game and edit the file back to 2.0f

They're very easy to take out if check the .mod file =D I know it's a broken record here but since only one .exe works at a time, unless you want like 20+ versions of every mod sometimes you got to add in the tweaks personally until someone makes something that can handle this better.
