Does this mean I can learn it from a Sectoid, almost from the start of the game or? And does it really work as it says?

I've got a problem installing this mod.
I followed the instructions, but everytime i try to run the bat file the following appears:
Pls install v4.0.30319
Is it a patch or sth like that and where can i download it?

My xcom program failed to start after some recent patch or something. I verfied the local integrity and that solved my problems but also undo the mod changes. Can anyone help?

This mod is unfortunately not working with the current patch. I validated the files, then installed the mod. The game crashes.

Second wave itself still works, just not the edits needed to make marathon work well, it seems. If you are willing to edit the ini yourself, all you would have to do is change ENABLE_SECOND_WAVE = 0 to ENABLE_SECOND_WAVE = 1 to activate Second Wave with a non-working marathon mode. Use ShowUFOsOnMission=0 to ShowUFOsOnMission=1 to display UfOs.

Did you guys try to simply reinstall the mod? I didn't have any problems with my own mod, and since this mod modifies the same file, I don't see why this mod shouldn't work.
Keep in mind that after a game patch, you always need to reinstall mods. That's how the laws of physics work.
