Is this mod still working for the latest patch? I am getting nailed across the screen behind full cover i would say 70% of the time. Don't even start me on the outsider, if i don't drop him as soon as i find him, my entire team is gone, AND before the experts start telling me how good they are and how the beat impossible with one team member for the whole game using 1 interceptor with only a cannon... I have logged 146 hours.

Don't be an ass. If you think the Crit and Hit bonuses from standard Classic difficulty are in any way fair, you're a masochist. You'd have grounds for complaint if this mod inflated the soldiers' Crit and Hit to what the aliens get. It doesn't.
With this mod Classic difficulty is how it should have been all along. Without this mod, the game plays more like Terror From The Deep - which, y'know, isn't "Classic" X-Com at all, being the sequel.

When this mod was made the Second Wave options were hidden and disabled, however people found these options and released mods to enable the menu. That said Firaxis saw interest in Second Wave so later that patched it in. I am pretty sure that this mod would have just enabled the Second Wave menu.

I was looking at the files and it has one that says without ufos. I downloaded it thinking it was a mod that only reverted the critical and aim buffs but the readme file suggested otherwise. Is it just an old reame file or did I missinterperate the file name?
I found another mod that removes the ai aim and crit values for classic but it just made my game crash
This mod is my last hope but I really don't want to deviate from the default game too much with the ufo changes. What I really wanted was just those damn crits in classic gone.

how do you uninstall this, with enemy within coming soon i figure there would be conflicts - also will you be doing a EW version ;p
