Hello Shartikran, Thank you for your reply. Sorry I am unable to post on the forums. That was the first spot i tried to post but even after i log in to that site it wont let me post. The plugins I am using for the procedure are so so many. but for example I created a merge patch and named it "mergepatch two" and then apply filter and try to correct conflicts that i find. For example {Skyrim redone races} and {Ethereal Elven Overhaul}. I right click {Skyrim redone races} in the left colm and then click "copy as overright into.." button. then i double click my patch i made "mergepatch 2" and then i drag what i want to over ride into my "mergepatch 2" colm which is on the far right. and it seems to apply. but after saving and closing the program. it seems to have no memory of what ive just done. if i reopen the program no changes to my "mergepatch 2.esp" seems to be there. do you know what i can do to fix this? you asked how i am setting the masters. I am sorry but i do not know what that means. I beleive i let BOSS set my master if you are talking about load order. When I open TesVedit all my .esm's and .esp's are checked except skyrims.esm. the first and main .esm. so I check the box to the ledt of skyrim.esm, so it loads it. am i suppose to do this? I hope i can get it working any advice is greatly appreciated. I loved this tool for FNV and FO3. I cant wait until i get it working for skyrim. if your the one who released this tool Sharlikran I want to thank you! I love this tool

Dawnguard has a crap ton of UDR's. If anyone successfully cleans it without problems, let me know. I'm afraid to try it. (although I've already done several others successfully, but it's just that so many mods require Dawnguard, I'd be afraid to clean the UDR's without basically also importing every single other mod esp I've got before cleaning)

In that case then what we can do is work from the Nexus thread. Put your plugin list inside of spoiler tags, and explain what you are doing with TES5Edit in as much datail as you would like.

Yes you can and should. However, I would really recomend verifying the procedure by asking in the official forum. I either work at my job, or make Wiki pages for users, decode, update the UESP Wiki, or whatever and I keep putting off doing it myself. Just don't clean all the files, Update.esm, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire at the same time you will really mess up the process. My goal is to get that into the tutorial this weekend, or next weekend depending on real life stuff and so on.

Yes I, we, released it. Basically ElminsterAU made the first three versions. Zilav and I updated this version. We both put in about the saem amount of work just in different ways up to the point that we released it for closed beta. After that, Zilav has done everything from then on while I just do other things that are helpfull to the project. There are only two of us and together we really put a lot into this so that we, as players ourselves, have a working tool, but so that the Skyrim comunity has access to the tool as well.

Your are welcome, glad you are enjoying TES5Edit.

Sharlikran, thanks for the reply. I luckily have not attempted to clean Dawnguard and the Update.esm at the same time. However, I did clean up a few other (player home) mods at the same time. Is this always a huge no-no, or just in the case of Dawnguard, Update, Hearthfire, etc.? It seemed to work fine, as far as I can tell. Hope I didn't screw anything up. Also, as others have said, thank you so much for releasing this. We've needed it desperately. :)

Wonderful! I'll seeing about putting playing aside (and work on my FO mod), and doing some testing with this over the coming weekend.

It is not recomended to clean multiple plugins, especially, esm files. If you need to know the order to do it let me know.

Well, I've already cleaned the Update.esm, and I don't yet have hearthfire, so all I need to clean is Dawnguard. (by itself, of course) :) Have I already gone in the wrong order?
