I would love to have a mod for the original MIDI music from X-COM: UFO Defense in Enemy Unknown. Anyone else?

Yeah, I always like mods like this for classic game sequels.

There is a CD produced by John Broomhall, remastering all the Classic Xcom : Ufo Defense tracks.
Really superb work, I hope there may be a way to put them into Geoscape, Battle and so on overtop defaults. Bring back that classic sinister vibe rather than the more action movie pace currently.
I like how Discogs categorises it as 'Ambient', something we associate with Cafe Del Mar haha. Xcom soundtrack definitely does not chill me out.

Hell yeh. This new war epic music doesn't work for me at all. I don't want to feel like I'm in a Battle Los Angeles movie..

EarX, that hit the nail on the head for me - it does sound like Battle : LA.
Have been listening to the tracks again (remastered originals) and "Debriefing" has an almost Vangelis vibe to it (think BladeRunner The Movie).
