Ran into an issue where when you change to another suit of armor (in my case skeleton armor) that there is only one item slot.
@Chaoz's reply to my earlier comment
It turned out the patcher was indeed working, I just didn't relise the results were putting put onto a notepad.

Alright, I feel retarded after reading all the comments on how easy this is to get to work. But I cant seem to get it to work at all. I'm playing it on normal and have even started a new game but nothing this mod does seems to be happening. Im pretty sure I put it somewhere that would make it work, since it says anywhere and when I run the patcher thing it dosnst really do much besides have a little black DOS box pop up for less than a second. Am I suppose to run the modpatcher.exe thing as well or just the patcher.bat? Or put it somewhere in the game folder itself? I saw somewhere they put it in their documents folder and it worked . Any advice would be awesome. And yes, I kinda fully expect to have crap talked to me for not being able to get this to work and Im sorry for that

Yup... the shocker will not work for any armors for me.
Rest of the mod is A-mazing!

Solution is playing Xcom(i.e. Steam) offline: everything is working again.
Have a look at the 2k-Xcom forum.

Is this mod for easy only or can it be used on all levels?

Most of the changes apply to any difficulty, although some do apply only on easy. I don't recommend playing it on other difficulties or you'll miss out on many of the mods features.

Now it's one item slot for ALL armor.
There is no two item slot additions anymore.
The file where the skeleton suit issue happened I stopped playing right when that happened. Then before I played the game (did a new game) again I downloaded your updated mod and now there is only 1 item slot no matter what.
I don't know if this is now the result of the patch or if the skeleton suit affected all my guys in all my playthroughs.

I too am having this problem. The little DOS box comes up for literally 2 seconds and that's it. I put everything in the folder with my XCOM.exe file. It's just not working for me. Thanks!

I have tried all combinations of mod and difficulty, but was not happy with any of them until now. I found my perfect game. This mod on normal difficulty is just right for me.
@forgottenpixel If your Xcomgame.exe is anything but 27,771 meg then the mod is working.

It seems to be impossible to get the arc thrower to work if you put it in a pistol slot, though it shows on the screen as being in the slot, and you can actually operate it. It just doesn't stun. Putting the original text for the arc thrower back into the mod file made everything work - all the slots, everything. I am running a normal difficulty game now, and haven't had any problems.
