It is really a pain to know which soldier is equipped with which armor, at least in the beginning where you have limited amount of items and have to rotate them between soldiers. It would be useful to have some indication of their gear from the squad selection screen (where you see the list of available soldiers).

Also, I believe that another slight improvement would be removing the request for confirmation (e.g.: when you want to go in overwatch). Did anyone start to look at these things?
