i have to complain about the PLASMA GUNS!
after playing a bit i really really dislike the aimpenalty. i need an alt version for 1.4 please
also since i have the stun in the gunslot i never see guns anymore except on my sniper (not a gunslinger), but i'm sure i would have complaint about the aimpenalty too
also i really really dislike the fact that my soldiers miss close range targets with 80% aim. i know 80% is 80%, but i hate it. i really love the 50% shots, they seem to hit more often than those 90% shots... it really is like"yeah 50%, kill him" and with 75% its like "pls don't miss"
and my heavys became a bit useless with the heavy plasma, not hitting s*** anymore. at least thats what it feels like.
are those alientypes and numbers hardcoded? or is it possible to add sectoid grps in every encounter no matter where or what ? i really miss them in mid and late game. two grps of 3 sectoids in each mission additionally to whats already there would be really great i think.
oh and about the SHIVs: the problem with them is that they use a soldier's slot. i would take one and use it when i don't have to sacrifice a soldier for it. and dont tell me there is no space next to 3 flighcomputers, 2 arrays, 2 power soruces and 23 corpses
and something more: it would add a lot to the game when changing that one: how about pistolshots dont end turns, so u can gun and run (like heavys), maybe also pistols can be shot twice, which sounds logical, its a fast thing to use. but u might have to tweak them a lot for this. but my main idea is to allow u to shoot a pistol and run to cover.

First off, great mod.
Second, a question: I started a new game with the mod in place, but forgot to launch in offline mode. I noticed it wasn't properly installed after a few games. Do I need to start a new game, or can I continue playing now that it's properly enabled?

feels like my mod is halfway on or something.. like im getting the full AI on normal, but their hp is still low.. maybe im just imagining the ai part and the mods not on at all -.-.. how do you check.
i copied v1.4 over ontop of the 1.3 and just ran the patcher.. is that a bad thing? XO

Hello ppl, thx 4 the mod working like a charm until update 1. Is it only me? Reinstalling the mod after the update 1 cause a crash (and it is right cuz the upd change the .exe as the mod do). Any way out?

well the thing with the aimpenalty is that after euqipping my soldiers with plasma it feels a bit like a downgrade, of course the damage is better, but the gameplayexperience tells me i hit less, so instead of my soldier becoming better, his aiming got worse. my team is maxed out and other than in vanilla i have this feeling of not playing with topsoldiers... also my sniper has not so many 100% shots, with scope and plasma he is just like a scopeless vanilla sniper.
so what i am trying to say is that overall aiming percentages decreased with this mod in endgame.
back in tftd (never played ufo, what a shame) i had some really good soldiers, with 100% aim across the whole map. now its somehow capped. maybe with the randomstats in secondwave their might be some soldiers with more aim than without randomstats?
i think i prefer hitting more often instead of oneshotkills. it also makes my tatic less depending on luck.
maybe something like damage roulette with better hitchances would be the thing for me...
