After playing and replaying the game for quite a few times, some of the maps and enemy placements kinda start to get boring and a bit obvious, so I was thinking of a Disgaea style map generation system to make Xcom infinitely replayable.
Basically have sections of maps that can be stitched together to create more variety, say a randomly generated forest area that gets overlayed with the UFO part of the map for landings, plus a crash/burn trail behind it in UFO crash missions.
Urban areas with intersections that have random buildings, say a gas station, then a diner, both with one of many preset interiors that can be used like Lego.
Probably a long ways away, if even possible, but it's worth a venture.
