Is this mod compatible with the latest game update?

The new textures look great!

I did however run into a glitch. The helmet texture does not load once deployed into a mission. It shows a solid color (red in my case).

Gentlemen, I need your help. Did everything by the instruction, but the textures just won't change. It seems that Texmod cannot access my exe file or something like that. Any suggestions?

Place all TPF files and Texmod.exe into
\XCOM Enemy Unknown\Binaries\Win32\

Start Texmod.
Select Package Mode.
Click on Target Application, find the folder: \XCOM Enemy Unknown\Binaries\Win32\
once there select XComGame.exe
Click on the little yellow folder icon in the middle
Click on Browse
Select Armor.tpf
Click on the little yellow folder icon in the middle
Click on Browse
Select Helmets.tpf
Click on the little yellow folder icon in the middle
Click on Browse
Select Weapons.tpf

All three you must see in Texmod Package Name list
Armor
Helmets
Weapon

Then you can click on Run the game should start with the new textures

Awesome looking textures. I cannot run vanilla XCOM anymore, your work looks so beautiful and the whole game feels a lot more serious your way, kolt16! Thank You!

Great mod, really improves the look and thus the experience ingame! However, consider adding comparison pictures, it might increase the interest in this mod further.

Anyone else have AVG telling them the Texmod included in the archive has a virus on it? EDIT: Hmm seems the one on fileplanet has one too. Are these files dangerous or do I just need to let them past AVG?

@madcat27

I think it has to do with the fact that Texmod modifies the texture values in memory which causes AVG and other AV programs to think it's a virus.

@ kolt16

Awesome work. I've been following this texture mod since it first came out and it never fails to impress. Good job.

@baszermaszer
Thanks for explanation but that exactly what I was doing before and it doesn't work. I tried to use uMod instead of Texmod but it was just crashing the game all the time. Still no idea what's going wrong.
