humm yeah of course everything is possible... it would require some editing of the ini files... i think adding the no panic to the more hp would be easier... you'd have to open both ini files in notepad then "ctrl+f" to search for the word "panic" without quotes, in both files... then you compare the values of one file to the other and copy the numbers from the "no panic" into the more hp when they are not the same... its actually pretty easy to do... it just takes a bit of time! :) let me know if i can be of more help! :)

when you are finished you save the ini file and put it in your xcom directory at the right place and start the game and it will work! :)

Okay I will give it a go, thanks. When you say the .ini file I take it you mean the DefaultGameCore file, yes?

indeed! from the mods folders, you can open both DefaultGameCore.ini from "more hp" and from "no panic", then do ctrl+f to find the key word panic in both, then simply edit values with keyboard so they match! :) pretty easy tweaks to do! :) let me know if you made it!

Haha!! Done it; Plus altered a few values of my own.....I'm a modder, maybe the best modder in the world. :)

Would you by any chance know what value to change that removes the Alien Crit and aim bonus when playing classic?

Thank you very much for your help, it's great that I can now fine tune mods to my own liking.
I made a 'Don't panic with more HP' mod. :D Well, you did really, I just merged them a bit.

I have no idea why but my Enemy Within part of the mod is not working at all. I am not super computer savvy and I followed the instructions to the "T" and it still isn't working. Any ideas why?

In response to post #10711476.

I'd need a bit more than that to go on however...

When running the "installer.bat" file on step2, you ran the right one i assume?... can you share your "log.txt" from that xcommodhelper folder?

when you say it does not work with ennemy within, you tried with unknown and that one worked?... my only guess would be that you did not placed the right files to the right folder... easy way to "test" as i stated before, is to start a new game, and "fake throw" a grenade, at the bottom you see the damage it "would" do, if its above 3, then the mod is working! :) -- same for the meld container they should have 50... :)

In response to post #10711476. #10728287 is also a reply to the same post.

WOW...I apologize I fixed it I feel stupid. For some reason the .bat files and mod helper wasn't working in their original download folder so I extracted the folder to my desktop and ran the mod helper from there and the .bat files and now it works....I apologize for being all newbish.

Great mod!
I'm wondering where in the ini files can you find the areas to adjust meld values? I like fielding pure MEC suits (because I get to pretend this is Starship Troopers (book version). Thanks.
