Oh bleh! I got as far as seeing third-person and jerky animations, then I got bored. I guess the big thing here is playing with your friends, but I don't have any friends, so I'll stick to single player.

Bethesda is just the publisher. Zenimax is Developing the game, so theres a chance that a "real" Elder Scrolls game is on the way

The game looks really great so far, will be interesting exploring it. Though,I can't help but be a little bit dissappointed by Beth's work on the beast races.I hoped for least open-toed boots on them,to show the claws on the feet, and for realism's sake, there's still no armor on their tails. If you look close, both things are observable on the vid.Call me furry if you want , but that's those are my thoughts on this.

as for the payment i agree with most people:
- montly pay = no way im buying (and all elder scrolls fans who dont like online games) course i dont want some money gobbing monster to nibble on my credit card every month/week/whatever time, when im not playing or playing less (and if i dont have the time to play it obvious i also dont have time to change the pay subscription)
- like aion free to play, but pay for people who want more items and acess to guild vaults and stuff i would never use = i will play it, but think less of the develop team
- guild wars pay only 1 time (even tough i never played guild wars) + everything includes in the 1 pay price = i'ma play this my entire life XD or untill a new elder scrolls pops up, that way i pay for the hard work they did to make the game, AND i get all the content, so basically i get what i pay for, fair and square. (basically the way ever game sale should be in the first place)

Looks great. I only had two concerns.
There wasn't any first person view shown although that might just be how the demo was set up.
They mentioned that you could create any type of character your wanted and it didn't matter which gear you used.....or something similer. I am worried that you will end up with a bunch of thief/mage/assassin types running around in heavy armor if there aren't any magic or stealth penalties. After all who is going to gimp their guy with light armor that offers less protection.
I hope they offer the Guild Wars business model but with the popularity of TES I don't blame them for using the monthly fee route.

@ Tru3lMagic
"standard wow clone rpg"
I assume you're not talking about the combat bit because, in WoW, I don't remember using the mouse during combat for anything other than targetting opponents too far away to tab target.

WHY an mmo...? All I want is to play with my friends... NOT the rest of the world! It'd be just as awesome if I could play a friend's game as one of their companions, or for us to have both our main characters on the same server. Seriously, single player with standard multiplayer with local multiplayer functionality would be perfect for TES, definitely NOT an mmo. Anyone else agree...?

Looks decent enough. Though the my decision on playing this lies with the game's pricing. If it's a one time buy I might consider but it if it's a subscription based model I'll rather stick to Skyrim and Aion

What I am curious about is how they are going to be able to keep the true lore for ES. 1,000 years before skyrim puts it just at the 2nd age (if my math is correct). Having said that this may actually draw me back to MMO's as everyone has become all the same from base play to End Game play. Would be nice to also see it be based were your action provide the outcome of something just lke the single game.

monthly pay has nothing to do with popularity,
skyrim updates are for free now and DLC's are pay,
so if the online game should come out i would say only pay 1 time too,
fact 1: true elder scroll fans are already having trouble with adapting to a online game, if its a montly fee, guess what? they wont buy (i know i would not, its not worth it no mater how great the game is, i dont pay 2€ for every slice of bread too, i pay 2€ for a ENTIRE bread, duh)
fact 2: nobody likes spending money over long distance times + half the world is still in a money crisis, asking for a montly fee is like saying "dont bother buying the game people"
if it would be montly fee, very little people would buy it, true elder scroll fans that still stick to the tradition of single player wont buy it, people who never liked online games would not buy it, enz,
if its a aion concept, more people would be pulled over that line of doupt,
if its a guild wars system of pay only 1 time and you get what you payed for, is the system that will likely pull most of the people with doubt over the line, paying only 1 time feels secure and honest, making people new to online gaming or people who never wanted to give online gaming a try out of fear for the large number of cash lost over long time distance.
