right, i got it!

http://memison.devia...ister-106442639

Based around the BOS power armour from fallout Tactics, the suit never actually seemed THAT bulky. It just had actuators to aid movement and strength, the armour itself seems to be just made up of advanced composite metals and plastics. the most technical piece of the armour itself seems to be the helmet and the power pack. The helmet seems to be just a rebreather and radio transmitter which the pip boy nulls the need for.

dude... thats awsome and you even got the same hair my char uses =]

So feminizing armour is as much about impressions than about practicality. Like tweaking this and that to make the armour fit more to how we see women's bodies. Real women need their own kind of armour and that's practical. I accept that but I also say that Fallout 3 is a game and really doesn't reflect reality much anyway.

I enjoy looking at feminized armoured figures but I like to have different degrees like some women soldiers being in armour not much different than male soldiers but some special cases being a bit more sexy, lethal and unique but I can like a character's appearance for other reasons. I also like women soldiers or special forces to be clearly different according to what they do, like a big stormtrooper type versus an infiltrator.

As for some female armour being impractical, we are talking about the Fallout 3 universe where there are lots of impracticality. I mean somebody in power armour can be hurt by a radroach or a raider with a baseball bat? Anybody can fire off a hulking minigun with all of its recoil let alone carry it around in the first place while in theory only a human with a power suit should be able to do something like that or a Super Mutant? Somebody in heavy armour can easily swim across a river?

So, give me some good taste eye-candy, please, and some impressive women heroes in armour.

As for the pink armour, why worry about it?

In response to mjjking
if the USA in the Fallout 3 world had been at war for some time before the A-bombs fell then many men would be called up to the fighting forces and that would mean the government would be getting lots of women to work in factories, on the farms etc. along doing non-combat work for the military. Back in the 1940s of our world the USA did the same thing. But if the USA in the Fallout 3 world was pushed hard enough there is a chance it would use women soldiers, even in special forces.
Also if lots of men had died in fighting, then the women would still be needed for a while even if the fighting had ended.
Governments do what they have to do to survive!

Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the blender file for what I had done. However, that'll just make it easier to fix problems I had already noticed with it. I'll post a picture within the next couple days. Also, I'd like to remind everyone that all I'm doing is the model, we'll need someone else to rig it to work in the game, that's not exactly my area of expertise, not that I'm an expert at anything.

That would be cool to see....however I'm deeply disgusted with the modders who've given us the ability to have naked women running around. Are we trying to incite another "hotcoffee" incident people!?

@jkruse05

Thanks for the update, good to know you haven't disappeared. Once you get the model sorted, im sure we could find someone to rig it put a texture on it. Good work so far mate, glad to see someone getting on with it.

@VengfulSoldier //mini-hijack aleart

Disgusted? No one is forcing you to use them.

Anyway. I seriously doubt you could provoke a hot-coffee incident here for the following reasons:

a) Devs are only responsible for what ships with the game publicly or hidden, not what modders add to it

b) The game is pretty much tied up age restriction wise anyway, it so far involves:

Slavery, and allows the player to help capture slaves

Prostitution, allowing the player to hire their services

Violence and murder, including the nuking of an entire settlement for no reason other than the player felt like it, and someone offered them some cash.

Are breasts and sexual organs seriously such a problem given the background?

No run along and don't clog up this thread with your ramblings //end hi-jack

VengfulSoldier: I commend the modders who gave us, the players the option to streak if we so wish to. it's not that I need nakedness it's just the thought of the alternative sickens me. perma-underwear = ugh.

One benefit of nudity is that it allows one to add, with the right mods, wearable underwear. It would be good to see a game that gives you the option of 'censured nudity' as in hazy bits or vivid nudity under two or three layers of gear. Example, misted or vivid nudity under underwear, a kind of 'undersuit' for powered armour that adds to its effectiveness and then the powered armour. There could also be an extra layer for such as power suit backpacks, radio-packs and etc.

Just a thought!

I have been considering the possible classifications of feminized armour.
* Special Forces as in infiltrator, assassin, scout or commando.
* General infantry or elite infantry (power infantry?)
* Special female only groupings such as amazons, a Sisterhood of Steel or some kind of clones?
* Female bodyguards for women VIPs.

Power armour could always mean more than just combat!

It would be good to see more variation and more classifications of power armour being used in Fallout 3.

Just another thought!

Love the

While classes of power armor would be cool I think we need to just get the basics in first, and that means a female version of each power armor. Once that's done we can start messing with other stuff. Although, I must say Power Armor, in Fallout anyway, does pretty much mean combat, it's designed to boost the physical abilities of the wearer, and as such is bulky and loud. I don't' think there'd be power armor that makes you stealthier or a better speaker. Although I understand if you just mean it can be used in more roles than just a walking tank, a lighter basic infantry version seems plausible.

Lifts, but doesn't separate.

It still needs a few details worked out, but unless someone sees something major that needs to change I'm going to wrap this one up and move on to Enclave armors.

Well, I messed with the standard BoS power armor mesh for a bit, and this is what I've come up with so far.

Arms need to be scaled down, and a number of other things need to be adjusted.

It did take a bit more than just removing the plates to get the hourglass form, but I think everybody knew that's where it had to start.
