I still thoroughly enjoy playing skyrim. I can still play for hours at a time, clocked 700'ish hours according to steam. I think I can add a good 100 hours on the 'not official' version while I was waiting for the deliveryman to bring it. Took a break soon after that because all manner of bugs just killed it, decided to wait for a more stable version. Got back somewhere in Feb/March and been playing every free hour I had, I think. I still take a lot of joy out of the Dawnguard storyline, I like it more than the dragonborn arc. I can also spend a good amount of time going over my old screenshots and see how it started off and how it slowly started looking better as I added better skyrim 2KHD, added RLWC, added my first ENB and so forth. In terms of gameplay, Dawnguard was a good official addition. Became even better when I added 'better vampires' by brehanin to it. Unofficial additions that made my game this good for me: Tytanis was the first major mod, I still have it active, even though many modules have had their respective updates already as their own mod, sentimental value I guess. Most recent I added Tundra defense, I still experience some FPS kinks with it, but overall I have had a blast with it. Looking very much forward to another year of Skyrim. What I hope for most is that they add a bit more story to followers, like in FONV. Right now Serana is the only companion I know of that has an active role in an arc.

I still absolutely love the game, I'm one who's all in for exploring, exploring, snooping around a bit and then do more exploring!
I can almost say that I've finished the game as even the radiant quests are starting to repeat themselves now, I've gotten 5 characters to level 81(,5) on different kinds of playthroughs and though I do slightly feel like a nolifer about it, I'm quite proud of my 1012 hours of playtime.
Keep going on Bethesda, though I'd appreciate it if the PS3 users got their problems fixed for them and the Xbox360 users weren't given the the DLC's a month earlier, your contract's suposed to be over.
As to mods I can't miss out on, that's just the huge bunch of HD Texture packs I'm running with (I'm not a graphics *censored* though ;)), immersion mods and some of the great quest mods like the Moonpath to Elsweyr along with the UI improvement from SkyUI and Categorized favourites!

Happy B-Day, Skyrim.

I admit, at one point, I went away...and Skyrim was there, on my PC, not being updated, and just waiting. Then, one day, I came back, and I realized - I missed it. Yea, the game is buggy, yea, I get CTDs all the time, yea, I had to learn a lot of things about tweaking and fixing to make the game playable, but still - I missed it. I missed Whiterun, and those cozy looking houses. I missed Gildegreen, and Heimskr, shouting over an over again how Talos was great...I missed Paarthunax, with his cool and wise demeanor. And Lydia, sworn to carry my burdens. Wether she likes it or not.

And now, being a mod maker, I get to enjoy a whole new version of fun with this game, modding it, adding content, learning evem more...So, yes. Happy B-day, Skyrim. Here`s to lots more new mods, DLCs, adventures and hopefully less and less CTDs.

I could do without those.

I love the game.
This site and the people that contribute to it have greatly enhanced the game .
It is very hard for me to pick the best mod as there are so many good ones.
The top of my list are High Res Textures, Realistic sounds and birds.
Keep up the super work!!

One year ago today, I bought and played the game on Xbox. Today, I've got in on pc with a ton of mods and thousands of hours logged. Here's to another equally full and fun year!

It also has been exactly 94 years since Armistice Day, better known here in Canada as Remembrance Day. Let us not forget the real world, and why/how we are enjoying our "global community" - it was fought for and bought with blood and sacrifice, by all involved. Take a minute to remember, if you can spare it... ;-)

Oh, sorry...

Best mod: Imp's More Complex Needs

Haven't stopped playing for the entire year.

DLC has been very disappointing, but the upcoming "Dragonborn" looks promising.

Cheers! :-)
