Great Lord Greatsword Dragon Blood Edition

Great Lord Greatsword re-texture after I try killing the black dragon with it.

Looks good. I personally prefer ridiculously clean weapons myself, but I know a lot of people enjoy the gritty, used look. I would say that for one, the blood looks a little too fresh and vibrant, might want to add some darker reds and blacks to give it that clotting look. Also (I don't know if this was intentional), the blood spatter looks a bit patterned. Needs a bit more random. Maybe put more blood on the cutting edge. Keep it up.

Hey i did made the blood darker, i didn't update the images. But download it, take a few swings and let me know what you think. btw this sword swings both ways and i thought the location of the blood doesn't look too bad for its move set, but i might try something different later.

A bloodless one? For real? Is the blood a turn off for everyone?
I guess so...

Nah, not everyone. Just certain kinds of people enjoy that clean, metalic, shiny look, and some kinds of people like that gritty, dirty, bloody look. I, and apparently grogel, enjoy the former. I haven't made time to get the great lord greatsword (and I don't feel like cheating just yet) but when I do, I'll let you know how it looks. You could always just put blood on both edges of the blade. No sense in holding back on it! :P But yea, a realistic blood pattern would have blood on the edges, increasing in amount as it gets to the tip, because (especially for a blade so large and double-edged) as you swing the sword, the blood pools toward the tip before it clots and dries, and due to the shape of the sword it tends to stay away from the center. Not that it's all about realism, mind you; A real sword wouldn't have much blood on it at all (and where's the fun in that). So, there's a bit of info in case you feel like using it.

The images look good! Again, when I get it I'll let you know what it looks like. I'll spend my first Gwyn, Lord of Cinders soul on it just for you! :D
