OMC is correct, the female names is used as comparison for gender differentiation for mashup mode only. The generated DefaultNames.ini is what needs to be replaced in you X-com game folder. As you can see from previous comments, The generated file has been confirmed as working.

Is there any way to change the names as it appears ingame? if not could someone provide a original default names list, cus I accidently clicked search Google instead of copy

How does this mod figure out male vs. female names is there a place I can edit it myself. I'd say so far it's right about 65-75% of the time.
