Hi I'm a bit new to the whole modding thing, some of the mods i have work if they are V1. something or more but some come up as V.unknown and those ones dont work and I would be thankful to anyone who could help

Oh right I did watch a video and followed what it said but it still doesn't work.... oh right I'll delete one of them then... thanks for letting me know

There's no video in that Nexus wiki article, just explanations of the various kinds of mods for Dragon Age, and how to install/use them.

I think the reason they are not working is because none of them are daziped?? and I looked at the article and I watched a video on youtube but the files are all daziped and mine aren't could that be why there not woking??

If you read the article, then you know that only a fraction of the mods for Dragon Age are packaged as ".dazip" files.
Most are not that type.

Instead of asking a generic question like "Why won't mods work?" please describe the specific mod you'd like to get working, and what you've tried. Have you followed the mods author's instructions? What error message do you receive? That sort of detail would help us help you.

What is the problem with your modding? I am very experienced and can probably help you.

The mods that work are the Lillian urn if sacred ashes armor and the more hair colours and skin colours (I can't remember the name of the mods) and those are the ones that are v.1 or more and they installed on the damodder as zip files but the others are rar files or zip files that are v.unknown and they just don't install.... does that make sense?? And thank you

There are many mods that you are just supposed to download, unzip, and then put the contents into your override folder (copy and paste).

Like all of mine.

The override folder is usually found here:
Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

If you do not have that folder then you simply create one.

This is all explained in the instructions Thandal told you about multiple times.

I have read the article and I have watched videos and I've followed the instruction but they still don't work. It's not a case of me being ignorant it's that no matter what I do they just don't work
