We have taken NMM down this evening as we've found it is massively affecting the performance of the Nexus sites. We will put it back up soon (at which point the Nexus sites will become slow again) and we'll work to fix this problem as soon as possible. Could be tomorrow, could be weeks, I've no idea.
In the mean-time click the "Offline" button to still have access to mod management tools. You just won't be able to do things that interact with our servers, like check for latest versions or download mods directly from the site.
To add a new mod, download it manually and add it using the system provided, or drag and drop the mod from your desktop to NMM.

Any idea on when the Mod Manager will be back online? Its not letting me log in also.
I was wondering why the nexus was being so stubborn. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Hi,
I'm receiving the same error. I noticed the last post on the topic was Jun 11 so I thought I should post about it.
Is NMM down or do I need to look on my side to see why it doesn't connect?
Thanks!
Update: LOL! It came up right after I posted. Grrrr... It's either decided to connect or it's in offline mode. I'm going to go with connected.
Thanks for a quick fix! ![]()

i also get this problem i think this is something on their side . A lot of people ( including me ) also get Gateway problems when trying to use the skyrim nexus site itself.
Here it is again!
I have this problem too and I have already tried re-installing the mod manager and I even took the precaution of deleting every remaining mod manager file before the re-install.
Same here.
Same problem. I have the newest version, 0.45.7, so updating is not an option...
