Is there already a mod, or is someone willing to create a mod, that brings back multiple bases, base attacks against you and multiple alien bases?

The old game had two ways to lose:

a - Governments withdrew all funding
b - You lost all your bases

I find it a shame we no longer have the second way to lose at this game, and having base attacks would increase the urgency to invest in your facilities.

I fear it is impossible with tools we have at disposal. It would require building new user interface and back office to manage multiple bases and new maps for bases that would update as is a base built. Not mentioning scripting attacks.

I suppose I could try the Firaxis forums and maybe they would include it in DLC

Agreed They have development kit and all powertoys. At least they could do central base attack events, that would be so sweet!

Yeah i'd SOOO buy that dlc !
