I have had the same problem and spent the past two days figuring out how to fix it. While researching i found the problem all over the place but none of them had answers on how to fix it. Anyways on to the solution.

1. Goto the wedding area in solitude where he first appeared during the assassination quest
2. Open console
3. Type "prid 000D5637" to select the invisible problem NPC using his refID
4. Type "enable" to make him reappear
5. Kill the problem bard NPC

Fixing bugs were never so satisfying.

Thank you for posting this! The constant CTDs due to this bug were driving me crazy.

As I noted in my post ... even if you rebuild install from scratch ... something is going on that is ... imo ... attached to the DLC files ... that is a Bethesda issue ... and seemingly a recent one ... even tho I've rebuilt from scratch ... I get the same pile of script errors I did before I rebuilt!

Very annoying and yes at this point .. its a game killer for me as well. 5 days of troubleshooting ... all for not! ><

I think you are right- even with all mods except DLC disabled it still happens. Bethesda broke something that is giving quite a few people problems. But what would the SF_BardSongsInstrumentalWedd_0010C67B error have to do with the DLC? Is there added instrumental music that rides off the music from the bard (Lodi) that only appears in that DB quest? I can't figure out what they could have broken.
