the ammo adding idea is being worked on now and for a good reason. mainly too keep incompatibilities down for gun mods that use the same ammo.

Makarov PMM really sucks, just believe me. It bullets can't pierce cotton jacket (i don't know how it called in english - prisoners wearing it from 30s to novadays) from about 60-70 m and accuracy really sucks.
