What is THAT supposed to mean?? A red herring is defined as something that detracts from the central conversation. How was what I posted in any way doing that?

no I played on x-box and he was there. I was wondering who he was.he is dead in the cell. very odd ???

Methas Hlaalu. Unscripted. Has a unique amulet. Possible House Hlaalu quest(?).

It is mentioned in the Morrowind player's guide. Either under 'Misc Quests' or 'Morag Tong Quests' you should find it. Or it might be under the fun facts area. Its a dead guy (Hlaalu person as Abramul said) and he was killed by the Morag Tong and was supposed to be kept a secret I believe. That was all memory, and I read it almost a year ago, so I could be wrong.

I've come accrose this myself, two seperat people are holding keys to get down there (two sperate doors) so mabey they could have somthing to do with it? Like in a quest?

Hey I know that he is Methas Hlaalu and as far as I learned about him he is a Thinker in Morag Tong. I think it should be a conflict betwen him and Eno Hlaalu you know and I try to find Eno and see if he carries the amulet of Methas.
Can anyone tell me where I can find Eno Hlaalu?

The dead guy in question is a dead end plot, it's to make you wander from tTel Branora to Gnarr Mok to Dagon Fel and back again, the body is a "red Herring" it's only perpuse was to make the player extend the gameing time trying to solve the mystery

These things are also added in for someone to extend the quests with a custom Mod, like find Who's her nipples dead brothers ring. Or some such thing
