I'm still in the process of coming up with a story on how they got to space (or another plane of existence). I think I need to do a lot more research on the lore of the Dwemer. I simply think it would be interesting to implement them in Skyrim and just tell a good story. I appreciate what everybody has said so far, though I can tell many of you have some seriously mixed feelings about this idea. I will read up and study my lore relating to the Dwemer (which is how I will refer to them from now on) and get back to you guys with a better idea of a story.
