Lethal is right... I'm at level 40 and I routinely play at Diff +30. Makes for a whole different game when things attack in "packs", regenerate, and have hella more "hit points".

Yeah, i always play at a high diffuculty, until in bloodmoon i got attacked by like 9 or 10 rickling raiders on warthogs......
lets just say it took me like 20 min to kill all of them

Yeah, you can up the difficulty level, or you can add in some plug-ins that put in more difficult creatures into the game. My personal favorite would have to be the GIANTS plug-in. It puts some really tough creatures in there for me to kill, and my guy is almost level 45! It's really a lot of fun, if you want to check it out.

To adjust the Difficulty level, during gameplay, hit your Escape key and click on the "Options" tab. Use the slider-bar to set your new level.
Off the top of my head, I would say a nice little bump to say, +30 or +35 would be good. Give that a go and see what you think.
You might also try one of the many "Leveling" mods out there... many of them make gameplay more difficult/challenging in different areas.
