Does anyone know the location of where to install the mods for the Dragon Age Origins Ultmate Edition Steam version? I had the regular version before but the disc took a crap on me so now I have the steam version. Anyone know where they need to be installed to? Thanks.

micalov has it right. No change in mod locations with Steam vs. non-Steam.

For mods that are "placed in the override folder", the Win7/8 path is:

C:\Users\[username]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

Adjust to suit your flavor of OS...

(Oh, and why in the world would you have paid for the game again through Steam when you could have downloaded it from the EA/Origin store for free? :whistling: )

Erm, my core folder doesn't have the override file on it. I'm really new to modding so I have no idea on what to do...

Erm, just create it. (Actually, it'll get created on-the-fly if you just start playing. I think it happens after your first save.)
