Tried out the new beta (using the main ESP), and I was able to dismiss my NPC (Gorr) via the dialogue menu and EFF would recognize him once I rehired him. But that was only if I dismissed him via dialogue. If I tried dismissing him with EFF, and then with dialogue, EFF wouldn't recognize him when rehired.
He wouldn't relax, but he would sneak -- and as I'm much more concerned about sneaking/dimissing than seeing relax animations, I'd consider this a resounding success. Thank you for being so dilligent in responding to bugs!
Like Bols, I found that neither of the optional ESPs cured the sneak issue.

Curious if anyone would like to try testing any of the esps with Tikrid. The reason being, she is unvoiced and thus has a vanilla voice type, and I wonder if that's why 2.06 is more compatible with the others, as opposed to scripts/packages. Just a theory.
Lastly just want to thank everyone for their testing efforts. I'm really not familiar enough with these mods to know if everything is working properly. It also allows me to focus on adding more content.

Tikrid works like a normal vanilla follower without any rpblems with all 3 ESPs with EFF. Good luck.

I want to be sure before doing some damage, so I ask plainly.
Q: can I safely rollback 2.19 to 2.14 + Update too? Do I need a clean save?
I don't mind resetting the mod, I'm early in the game and didn't do any npc quest.
You can easily roll back to 2.06 by just installing the old BSA and the esp. Any loose file scripts from 2.14 will probably be superfluous, they'll point to recruits/goodbyes that haven't even been built yet. Of course, you'll want to dismiss any followers first.

Can I scream now? First I accidentally delete my comment while trying to edit it (It didn't even ask me, "Are you sure you want to delete this comment?" like I thought!) and after re-writing it, I somehow manage to press a wrong button that sends me to the previous page. Something up there doesn't want me to write this.
Sorry, if I come out as annoyed, but I assure you that my irritation is directed to my fingers. They're sort of 'trigger-happy' today...
Anyway, I can't remember half of what the original comment said, but here it is in a nutshell: The 2.14 version with AFT doesn't let me dismiss my followers, and because I'm a bell, I only realized it now. ): They also seem to get stuck in wait, at least in Hjoromir's case. We didn't get the "Follow me" -option after telling him to stay put, after he got us a 5 -septim bounty for opening a stupid cell door in Whiterun prisons (because apparently AFT with Dawnguard makes your followers adopt Serana's wander mannerisms, which makes idle dialogue cut short and makes them open doors that they probably shouldn't. This seems to be more of an AFT issue, but if anyone knows a way to fix this, I'd appreciate it!)
Zora seems to ignore my shouts, too. I recall someone mentioning that Zora didn't take any damage from traps even with the AFT tweaked, so maybe this is related to that?
Now I will carefully press the 'submit' -button and just in case I'll copy this so that I don't have to kill anyone...
EDIT: I did a quick test, I noticed that the waiting bug only seems to apply to Hjoromir in 2.14.
With the 2.19 update and I could now dismiss followers... however, I had to make a clean save, or start from a save WAAAAYS back. I tried to use 2.19 with my followers still around and they were stuck to me like before, since I could not dismiss them in the previous version.
I'm using the word 'dismiss' a bit too much...
//: I just realized that there is a tweak option in AFT to disable interactive AI, so that they don't start wandering. No more bounty for us! At least not because of Hjoromir... I hope.
I think I spoke a bit too early when I said that I was able to dismiss followers, because sometimes I can't. I went to Nightgate in, recruited Callen and fooled around a while and tried dismissing her, and at first she did. However, when AFT told me that a follower was leveling up, the dismissal didn't work. I didn't find a way to disable followers leveling, so I'm not sure if that's the problem... I tried to go recruit Rumarin, but found out that you can have only one iNPC with the new update and that the dismissal not working seems to happen at completely random times. You sort of just... tell them to go and hope for the best.
I think I'll go back to vanilla for a while, which is not that bad. I just wish Bethesda had allowed to have one more follower, since it's so hard to decide...
This post is just... all over the place.

I've never meet Tikrid, Can I simply teleport him to riverwood to test the esp's with ufo? If so what is his ID?

@Kitako
Pretty much. Any new scripts that don't get overwritten will be superfluous. They'll apply to quests, NPCs, and stuff that was introduced in 2.19
@Hevi
Hmmm, others have reported no problems with AFT. It's the one mod that doesn't seem to be affected. Of course, if you didn't dismiss followers prior to updating from 2.06 to 2.14, some wackiness might occur. I'll need a consensus on any bugs first. Hjoromir was missing a line, "Follow Me," which I've since added. I believe it was included in 2.19, but can't be sure.
@macrads
snowpoint beacon. she'll then go to dawnstar, you can recruit her there.
@Bols1986
Well, if the main ESP works flawlessly with Tikrid, then that's great news. It means I don't have to change anything with regard to scripts/packages. All it requires is a vanilla voice type for EFF to work, although it will still require a separate BSA with the folders rearranged.

@Kris
I've taken sometime to test all 3 esp's v2.19beta (the normal + the 2 optionals) with UFO.
I tested them with Tikrid (non voiced) and Gorr/Hjormir (voiced).
1) the normal esp.
- sneak bug works correctly
- no multi 3dnpc followers
- playerfollowercount will not upgrade after hiring/dismissing 3dnpc followers
- 3dnpc followers will not ride horses
- 3dnpc (voiced) followers will not dismiss
2) optional esp's 1 and 2
- everything seems to work correctly except for dismissing 3dnpc (voiced) followers.
3) the difference between voiced and non-voiced is that the first ones will show in dialogue only 3dnpc options (Alas, It's time....) and these don't work with UFO, while non voiced (Tikirid) will display both 3dnpc and ufo dialogue options, duplicating cmds such as "wait", "...part ways", "follow me". In this case using (It's time...) will dismiss follower and correctly update playerfollowercount.
4) other vanilla followers and cerwiden work for all three esp's.
hope this helps you to have a clearer idea.

Hello! First off -- excellent, impeccable work on the creative component of this essential mod. Because I am a writer/jack@ss, I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to NPCs (I've even had an eye-roll or two at the most recent edition of the beloved Vilja, who I generally very much like), but Interesting NPCs has yet to disappoint me. Zora is incredible and beautifully deranged, and I was quite pleasantly surprised by Gorr, as well. The voice-acting cast is also laudable.
Now on to the bug report (i.e. whining):
I've just upgraded to 2.19, and wanted to confirm the dismissal issue occurring with Zora. I run both AFT and Convenient Horses, and all three mods work marvelously together apart from this one problem (pity it's kind of a big one). Zora responds to almost all AFT commands, mounts her horse via Convenient Horses, and has generally behaved herself. Unfortunately, the intended commands to tell her to wait do not work. Once I dismiss her (via AFT's general "dismiss all" command, the only way that currently works) then leave the immediate cell, I am unable to recruit her again... and oddly enough, she seems to believe someone is already with me, though I am only traveling with Zora at this time.
I've seen others having problems with recruitment/dismissal, but I noticed an extra issue in regards to my particular problem. Zora has -two- options to open the standard command mode... both vanilla "I need you to do something" and "I need you to do something for me." She does have the "alas..." dismissal option as well, but unfortunately, as described above, it doesn't work.
I was sure to fully dismiss Zora before upgrading to 2.19 (cross my heart).
My load orders is:
Convenient Horses
3dnpc
AFT
One more note: she has occasionally said "will you come here? I have a question," but doesn't in fact ask one. I'm guessing that is the cue that she has original dialogue available at the location, however, and not necessarily a question. Oh, Zora, it's always about you, isn't it?
Thanks again for this stellar example of NPC-writing! Downgrading back to 2.06 for now -- because Skyrim would feel completely dead if I didn't have some version of this mod running -- and looking forward to the eventual upgrade.
Edit: I've messed around with it a bit, and I think I can confirm that it is dismissal through AFT that breaks the wait functionality. So long as one sticks to the standard wait here/alas/follow me options, they continue to work. Once any of the AFT dismiss/wait/sleep/stop commands are used, Zora refuses to follow again in any circumstance; I assume this is because AFT's command does not register her as having been, in fact, dismissed; hence Zora's "you already have someone with you" decline.
Vanilla NPC companion functionality continues to work as usual with AFT.
