LE An actually LEGIT Children race

There are only two types of Children's mods on the entire Internet.

 

1) A mod that just makes those retard children in skyrim a race. No customization. Terrible textures, etc, etc.

2) "Children of the Sky" which is a Loli mod. I don't want a loli mod. I don't play Skyrim for the boner. It does have customization/ legit textures

 

Can we actually get a children mod that allows you to play as a child, that has the customization options that vanilla races have, better textures than the default, and that can wear armor correctly!? I just want one so I can finish my entourage of characters. I want 5 chars, and one to be a little boy. (That sounds rather creepy...) but of course, all the mods made for children DRASTICALLY fail to meet expectations.

 

Maybe I'm just barking at the wrong tree, though.

There is no way to offer the same type of customization options for child races without making them a new race of resized adults. Those potato faced clone kids are hard coded into the game.

Just use Children of the Sky, you don't have to not have armor as long as your using armor it shouldn't matter should it? I use it for the simple fact is it makes your player short in first person. I've also made a video of that mod right here, with detailed install for the easiest set up possible.

The armorless for for CotS just adds realism. They have to take a bath in the river at some point right?

Look at the date of their posts dude, always check the date, you're a tad late on the reply (Necro), also notice the guy is banned as well, he can't see your reply. At any rate is there something other than Children Of The Sky? I wanna make a child character and have her be an engineer/vampire hunter (Engineering Mods + Dwarven Mods + Children As Followers is great for Father and son Dragon Hunts by the way.)

Children of the Sky has 2 versions; both are banned, even from the "SkyPorn" mod sites. Not sure entirely why; both mods had "perma non-nude" patches, and the sex mod was made to deliberately exclude most all the loli setups.

Anyway, they're both "very old" by gamer terms, and buggy as hell.

 

There's an "Elin Race" from some other game modded for this. You get pudgy kids with animal ears and tails. Personally, I dont want "Furry" children in the game. (except Kahjiit and Argonians, of course) Others feel differently.

 

Of those on Nexus:

TK modifies just faces, so I dont really count it as a child mod. Its just a facial remodeler.

 

Xvision offers the least "out of the box" with the most patches (Killable, lootable, new clothes, etc)

Unfortunately, it doesnt seem to allow for enemy kids, kids in gear (special mod to get them out of the regular clothes but nothing for armor), or much anything else.

 

RS child is the most complex from the initial, basically making "mini-adults" that you can kill, rob, and otherwise harrass. You need mods to make them fully act like regular NPCs, but this is the closest on the Nexus while still actually looking like humans, instead of "Mr Potato Head". The undies are normal, rather than slooty, and the "naughty bits" underneith have been removed as well, to make sure no perviness happens.

Sadly, doesnt seem to be much on the gear side of things though, aside from simple clothes.

 

Skykids seems to be the most complete mod for children, but isnt available on Nexus, although a great NPC model mod for it is.

I was using RCotS until the buggyness just got too bad, and now am trying Skykids.

I'll have to take another look at Skykids. I've only tried TK children, but they all look the same, & too anime for me. I'm still waiting for someone to come out with decent beast race children & elf children that can be followers.

Eh, after looking at some screenshots, Skykids still looks cartoony & out of place. I'm going to keep waiting for the Elf children mod to come out that Hallgarth is working on.

What is the possibility of this. If you have a son or daughter, it activates a PermaDeath option in MCM. When you die you assume control of your child and grow, essentially a new character but as a legacy. You'd get legacy perks as well from your father/mother to help you level and skill faster. Are there any mods like that?
