I have had trouble Installing mods on a non steam (torrented) version of Skyrim

Basically I have only been able to install two mods (Roads, and CBBE) which aren't that useful.

I am correctly moving the files from the downloaded mod into my Skyrim's Data file but it hasn't seemed
to work with my downloaded mods, (Reapers Dark Tower, Imersion's armor and weapons, dovahkiin's Hideout, etc.)

Any help would be great because its quite frustrating.
