@Sabatasso - You could always use the Categories section to narrow down mods you might be interested with. Also, there's GEMS to help us out.

@Xezcente Still I know what he means. Even in tag search, I find games tagged "lore friendly" that are a tad too far from the idea one would have of a lore friendly mod. I think there should be some more verifications as to the relevance of tags some people put on their mods.

My only gripe with the nexus is allowing people to change donation links when they take over a mod from another author or allowing "team members" to post up links to their donations tab. I have modded for a year on someone elses "uploaded" mod and that person still gets all the donations rather than the new team members. When I brought this up with Nexus staff, you guys said it was "against the rules." Rules need to protect modders, the people who generate interest in your site - as without modders the nexus would not get very far.
Everything else on this site is great but promoting multiple modders on 1 project is not one of those. I would really hate "Restarting" my mod after nearly 8000 because the site won't let me change the donations link and "author"/"upload" tag. People will literally work solo on a mod than work with my mod because they want "donations" on their own "uploaded" mod.
This is a very sad state of affairs, donations seem to instigate annoyance and disharmony, rather than being an incentive to mod and band together with other modders.
Like I said, I love this site but the "community" can be split, especially at a "modder" level.

I think it's a sadder state of affairs when donations dictate things at all

When money is involved even family sometimes break up, Sad, but it is how some people are. There should be a transfer or feature like a domain name has where the original owner of a mod can grant you open rights and credits for expansion or modding their mod. I use to Mod oblivion a lot, made two skyrim mods and would be flattered if someone picked up on my mods and made them better.

The Nexus has been my one and only go-to site for downloading mods and modding, which I began doing back in Oblivion days. My hours spent traversing Cyrodiil, trudging through the Wasteland, and jingle jangling around the Mojave (and, of course, wandering Skyrim) wouldn't have been a fraction as awesome as they were without the Nexus. The hundreds of amazing mods I use speak for themselves, and you guys give them a safe home. I appreciate what you do for the community. I agree that some of the current rules could use revision to help adapt to the ever-changing and evolving mods and wants/needs of the modders, but I applaud your efforts to keep this place a structured and civil environment. Perhaps something could be implemented for mods with more than one author (that could be toggled during mod creation/editing?) that allows the donate button to redirect to a different page than the usual - one that lets the person donating choose which user the donation actually goes to, and of course it would only show registered users. Just a random thought.

Not gonna lie, this has been my goto site/network almost every game I've modded, literally with only one solid exception and one partial. I wish I could buy beer so I could buy the admin(s?) of this site some beer in appreciation.

I've been addicted to this site, I'll give that. Come here at least thrice a day just to check everything out.
Kudos to all the Modders for their hard work, the Site moderators for their dilligence, and the Skyrim Community as such. I don't think it would have become such a success without the tireless efforts of the first two and the unending support of the third.
Evgir Unslaad......let the prosperity of the Nexus be a Season Unending!
Since I can't send it in real life, here's a virtual crate of Beer/Wine/Any other drink you fancy. Cheers!
