It sounds like a thousand times better story than skyrim.

The White Gold Tower was built by the Ayleids, Or Heartland elves. Not the high elves. You can check the Wiki if you want.

Hope the combat isn't shallow and won't use obsolete systems like WoW but be more active and dynamic like GW2.

@ Falconian
the're useing a system as close to TES as they can get, there are unfortunate pitfall inherent to the online landscape that prevent it from being a perfect copy, but it won't be a WoW clone for certain
I just hope the use the concept from GW2 that every thing isn't a competition (like if you help a player kill a monster you both get the same XP and loot)

I am anxious for this game but there are still two things bothering me that could potentially ruin it for me and a lot of people I know.
First, faction locked territories? Please. The races? Fine, at this point in elder scrolls lore, I can accept that the races would band together, and while there may be the occasional one who runs astray, its not you.
But I cant go to hammerfell or Daggerfall as an Argonian? Why? Nothing can answer that because there is no answer. I dont care if there are a billion guards and evil wizards of death, this is elder scrolls, I can sneak passed em. Theres no reason to lock races out of territories.
Level Speed: This is my major pet peeve in ever MMO since EQ1 / DAoC (AoC was the exception). You level TOO DAMN FAST. Hell in SWTOR I had 4 50s, 3 fully raid geared, 2 fully pvp geared in TWO MONTHS.
Sometimes I dont want to level. Major MMOs offer SO much more content than you can actually experience. EQ2 has the option to disable or lower your XP gain, as it should be. GW2 did a GREAT job in its scaling system to ensure you'll not outlevel content.
Well ESO has already said they will NOT offer a scaling option. So ...this is elder scrolls. I like to explore every single nook and cranny, complete every dungeon, cave, fort, bandit camp, and random daedric quest that I find. In Arena / Daggerfall / Morrowind this wasnt an issue because you could do everything and still not be level to move on to the next area. In Oblivion/Skyrim the enemies scaled to you, so also not an issue.
My main fear is that in TESO I will have tons of fun starting out, then realize after I've cleared everything in an area, im 5 levels over what I should be for the next area. Then bam....0 fun because the mobs are pansies.
I will of course try the game, I just hope its not the same as every other MMO in the last 10 years or so where I play for 2 months and go "welp, I beat it."

@vegeta05858: I hope not. Not just in MMOS.. In full ES games sometimes too... You get too powerful and then ask yourself; "now what?"

@spiret and others
Correct me if I am wrong but where did it say that Tiber Septim was a Nord? Could anybody point out the source?
Some say he was born as Hjalti Early-Beard in Alcaire, Highrock, some say he was born in Atmora... but being born in Alcaire doesn't make you a Breton, and being born in Atmora doesn't mean you are a Nord.
Besides that the cult of Talos, is also said to be not the worship of Tiber Septim himself but a combination of Tiber Septim and Ysmir, the general he betrayed.

@koscheideathless. The accepted and canonized version of the Tiber Septim story is that he was a Nord born in Atmora. Check the UESP wiki. The Hjalti heresy (which involves Ysmir and all that) is an alternate telling that is widely unaccepted and frankly doesn't add up with certain known facts. Talos of Atmora took the name Tiber Septim when he took the Ruby Throne.
