These look great! Outstanding work, I must say! Can't wait to see them in game. Will have to start a new playthrough when done with this one just to get the full effect. Also good job on explaining the installation and for making it work with the other mods. Immersion is such a wonderful thing, to be able to lose yourself in such a world and as said before it is the little things that seem to make the most impact. This really adds to the game. Thanks for all the work and effort.

These are fantastic, I'm really, really impressed by all the work you've put into this, and it's really something. I do have one question though: the Tranquil brand does very weird things to Tranquil faces in my game. I'm trying to get to the bottom of the problem but it's slow going and it continues to puzzle me. For the last version of this mod, I went into the files and pulled out all the files that needed the Brand to work, as far as I could guess. Would you be so kind as to give me a list of the files in this new version that require that mod so that I can use do the same.

Again, fabulous work, and the textures add a lot to the overall look and feel of the game. I'd endorse it again if I could.

@Packscribe What do you mean by very weird things? Would you be willing to upload a screenshot so I could see? Maybe I can help you figure out the problem. Other people might be having it too. In a few minutes I'll upload a file with all of all the tranquil without the brand for anyone that wants it. The problem with just deleting tranquil in the Mage tower is that they are only part of the "Immersion Fixes", which restores them with .utc files. If you delete the .mors their heads will disappear if you already saved to the area. Here are the file names though. I'll get the fix up asap. Mage Origin: ef_bhm200_fe_tranquil.mor em_bhm200_me_tranquil.mor Awakening: ef_vgk210_cera.mor Thanks for letting me know about this problem, and for your compliments. I hope you enjoy the rest of the mod. :) Edit: The "Optional Non-Branded Tranquil" fix is up under Updates.

@packscribe: if you're having trouble with the Tranquil brand then there's another mod that add the brand to Tranquil NPCs and it also uses Elf Update style morphs for the elven Tranquil. You could try using that for the Tranquil instead. It can be found here: http://dragonage.nex...s.com/mods/3643

I use that mod and this one and it's not given me any problems.

@danexuslurker: you're welcome. I should clarifiy that I've not used the full version of this mod with the Tranquil mod, so I hope everything works okay.

I was wondering, in the full version have you used the new skins for tmp's elven presets, or are they keeping the default skin? I love his (her?) presets, but also love the way you given elves a really distincitive look, so I was hoping to have both!

@danexuslurker: I'll see if I can get you a screenshot this weekend. I haven't used it in a while, and I recently had some trouble with Transgaming's wrapper and had to reinstall, and lost a lot of my older screenshots. Basically, what would happen was I'd install it, and it would "flatten" the face, stripping it of texture and any skin-like quality it may have possessed. Ever see the Borg on Star Trek? The skin looked a little like that, but with a big tattoo instead of metal-looking prosthetic. There were some distortions too, at the corners of the mouth, and bottom of the face. In one particularly awful run, it looked like the Tranquil at Ostagar's face was melting. I took some screenshots to send to the author of the mod back when I was documenting all this, but was still working up the nerve to stop lurking and post things. Sadly now they're gone, and I'll try and replicate it all this weekend. Also, thank you for making an update for not-branded Tranquil. It's much appreciated! @Illyaria311 I've seen those, they're quite nice. I've been hesitating as to whether or not to add them, as I was fairly sure that I wouldn't be able to use that mod with this one, and made a Decision. Next time I re-examine my override folder properly I may do whatever jimmy-rigging I would need to have both. Thanks for the heads up!

@Packscribe: providing you only have one file in your override folder for each morph it's usually fine. I tend to do a seach in my override folder for file names whenever I install a potential conflict and I've had no problems. It can take a bit of work to make sure nothing conflicts, though.

@Illyria311: That's the reason I've been putting it all off. It means an exhaustive search of everything that might have the same filename and I'm still cleaning up the mess Transgaming left in my Applications and Documents folders (apparently it would be much, much to easy to let me just knock it off, reinstall and start fresh), but thanks and I'll definitely remember that. It's awesome that you're being so helpful.

Oh wow, never heard of a texture problem like that, I don't know what would cause it. I know that if a textures is *missing* the face will look silvery and metallic, but if the texture was missing the tranquil brand wouldn't show up at all. Are you using any other custom skin textures, aside from Ferelden Elves?

There are only 2 file conflicts between Ferelden Elves and Tranquil Tattoo-Origins, because I gave my tranquil .mor files a different name. If you are using the Immersion Fixes you will need to delete the following 2 files from the folder ".../Ferelden Elves/Optional UTC":
bhm200cr_f_e_tranquil.utc
bhm200cr_m_e_tranquil.utc

The rest of of the 2 mods should be completely compatible.
