The dual wield sneak attack prevention only applies when wielding a weapon, and not Magic, on the other hand I hope?

@Akeros
"-Sneak attacks are no longer possible while yielding a one-handed weapon in the left hand."

That is pretty clear, isn't it?

@Akeros

Why should I nerf magic+one-handed sneak attacks? Since they do not result in a multi-sneak attack combo chain, I have no reason to do so. (At least for now :D some ideas have already manifested in my mind about how to make sneaky characters more challenging)

Apart from this, as heckur already stated, the changelog is quite explicit about the conditions for the nerf.

I just wanted to confirm one-hander sneak attacks didn't get a nerf when you had magic in other by accident. Can't be too paranoid when the release is so close. ^^

Really like the MCM support feature.

Is it safe to overwrite a 1.6 save with the new 1.7?

-The perks "Metamagical Thesis" and "Metamagical Empowerment" no longer affect every magic effect, but only spells with a proper school association

Does this mean these perks will no longer affect item enchantments?

Does this mean that alchemy is also no longer effected?

Yes, that is an intended sideeffect.

The primary reason for this change is to stop these perks affecting each and every magic effect... With the old implementation, they would for example also have affected the stamina cost for attacks, so taking this perk would have raised your attack cost by 20%.
