I just noticed that they are releasing DragonBorn DLC pack on steam for $20 , on Feb 5th. Starting a poll to see what the full time hard core players and general public think of it, if its worth buying or just another dlc thats ehh. dont really need.

It'd definitely be worth it regardless of when you buy it, as eventually mods will start making use of a lot of its assets, but if you aren't interested in seeing the story or just simply getting something new in the game, I'd definitely hold off for a while until it gets a good sale on Steam or some other place.

Currently I'm waiting for it to go on sale before I buy it, which should give the wonderful creators of the Unofficial Patches enough time to iron out the more glaring issues.
Honestly, I'd happily pay full price if Bethesda had highly polished products, but they don't, so I won't. I'll pay 75~80% for 75~80% polish.

I think it's worth it, and you just have to watch the youtube video walkthroughs or watch the official trailer and you'll wont it!..

I'll buy it when it's on sale for at least 50% off. I've already waited 2 months, I can wait a few more.

following is just my point of view;
From the walk-throughs uploaded in YouTube, the dlc seems to be more interesting than DawnGuard although it depends on how you like the new land or Healmes Mora quest. If the Dawnguard had had a new land, it would be nicer (Forgotten Vale is kinda new land though,,,).
What is worthwhile for me to buy is that nice modders will make good mods by using the assets of the dlc.

Buying it on release for full price is ridiculous. Even if it turns out to be flawless and bug free (as if) you will find out a few days later and can still spend full price on it. If not you can wait for a sale and then get the benefit of the mods that will do the polishing for bethesda.

I'm having a break from Skyrim after formatting my drive,and lately I've been playing lots of Battlefield 3 multiplayer,but I'd like to play something fresh.
Now I'm having a dilemma though. A local retail store has Far Cry 3 for 30 euros,and Dragonborn which is a DLC will cost 20 euros on Steam.
Now I haven't been playing Skyrim for some time because I lost my interest because of the lack of content and samey. What do you think,will Dragonborn hook me up and feel fresh enough to bring me back to Skyrim or should I better get Far Cry 3 which is actually a complete game ?
