From the screenshots it looks awesome but i cant seem to download it for some reason ( server times out only on this mod ). Its funny, i see this sword a lot at the start of the game since i go straight to the catacombs for this sword.

I'll upload the files individually instead of as a zip and see if that helps!

Oops, can't upload the .png versions, so I've added an optional download that includes JUST the 'Blood and Steel" version, and added some minor tweaks to the .png files to make it look more metallic in shaded areas. Let me know if this is downloadable for you, Toology86!

Okay, I am lightly confused with reading all this. So, say I want the blood and steel version, do I install both files or just the one in 'Updates'? I think it's the latter, but I don't like making mistakes.
File versions are confusing me, hence.

HI RJ, you'd install just the Blood and Steel set of images, there will be three .png files to drop into your tex overrides folder, a blue one that works for depth, the standard texture, and a darker texture the game uses when the sword is in a dark or shadowy place.
The 'main' file contains both versions, but the same deal there. Only drag the set of three files for the version you like, so if you're a purist who wants to play the game with the original look at a higher detail level, the other version is for you!

Am new here.. So i was wondering if this mod or any other mods from this website would work with Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition?

It will! In fact, this mod was made and tested with Prepare to Die edition, and I've tested several others with no issues. You will need to get DSFix first, though!
