I passed on DA2 largely because I too hated the default graphics and art style. After seeing your mod, I'm seriously thinking of picking it up now. Incredible work!

I have the same problem, it's not 100% of the time. Sometimes some armors just don't render(I guess) and it leaves the head there. I've had issues like dwarves missing their boots and random people missing parts of their armor or the whole armor, but if I reload the save they might be normal then. Would be nice to know a fix :s
P.S. Awsome job Aegrus.

Quick bug check:
I've noticed that one particular model tends to have trouble holding onto its textures: the super-size wine vats often appear in my game as a naked, grey models, sans texture. (There are two vats outside the Hanged Man Tavern. There's another in Harimann's mansion in Sebstian's quest, Repentance.) Quitting and re-loading the game fixes the glitch. Leaving and re-entering the area does not. My (extremely vague and under-informed) theory is that the model, being very large, takes up a lot of memory space and can overload the engine.

Shoot - my apologies for wasting your time.
I must have messed up while I was changing the LAA state on DragonAge2.exe.
A quick tip for other people prone to similar moments of incompetence:
There's another LAA fixer that does the same thing as the one referenced on the mod's home page but is a bit easier to use. It's located here:
http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php
Download this file: 4gb_patch.zip, save it anywhere. Open it and run the executable 4gb_patch.exe. (Not too hard to locate since it's the only file in the archive ... )
Running the utility will automatically open an explorer window in which you need to surf over to wherever you have the following folder:
OriginLibrary / Dragon Age II / bin_ship
NB, the exact location may vary. Bog standard is as follows: C: / Program Files (x86) / Origin
Once you've located the correct folder, highlight DragonAge2.exe and double click it (or click "Open" ). The utility even creates a backup (DragonAge2.exe.Backup), which is helpful if you want to make completely sure that it worked right.
P.S. Due to Nexus formatting being what it is (i.e., infuriating), I had to change the direction of the standard Windows backslashes.

This is not a mod issue. At least not from what I gather. This happens even when i don't have any mods installed. Bodyparts missing, sometimes just floating heads, random rainbow colors on weapons and black boxes in the terrain. Have no idea what is causing it. Want to play through this game, but this annoys the crap outta me
EDIT: Direct X 11 seems to mess it up for me. Using Direct X 9 gives me no such issue.

Crashes my game when opening the character menu to level up. I remove the texture mod, no crashes and I can go into the menu. Put it back in place and anytime I open the character menu, crash. Very strange, very frustrating. Other than that, awesome mod and everything looks amazing. Just wish I could actually use it for prolonged use.

Wonderful mod, everything is much more beautiful, eagerly waiting for the rest of the textures.
only one small criticism, high town is very white haha ... you cleared the floor sometimes it hurts my eyes to look at it ... would maybe release a version with the original colors of the floor?

Ok so there's a glich to this beautiful mod that makes me weep, and uninstall it, I'm not the only one whos had this problem to. I've searched the web and people on forums had the same problem, so in the black powder courtesy quest (the first quest when act two starts) after you find out that it wasn't the dwarf trader that stole from the quanary, and that it was a crazy elf. You try to leave, and go to the back ally in darktown, when it will load for 1 min or so when it will freeze and crash. This also happen elsewhere in the game to, thats why I didn't just uninstall it finish it then keep going with your mod. I love your mod man its great, but I can't play with this problem, some others think it that it could be one texture file thats causing this problem. I don't know how to fix this but maybe you do, please fix this thanks.
