As long as it takes for them to fix as many bugs that get reported that they find prevalent enough to fix... 1.8 beta only lasted about 16 days til release. This patch has a lot of fixes so it will likely take longer.

Is there any way to go back to the previous version so I can just play my game for now until my mods are patched?

Just make sure to activate the "Do not automatically update this game" option at the game's properties (right click on it)  at the Updates tab.

Beware that updates in Steam itself is prone to reset all your particular settings, so keep an eye on it also.

Well, what would that do to my other updates and files? I just want to undo One update but what you are saying sounds like more than that. I am have the update feature off and the beta off but I still have 1.9 apparently. I just want to play my game now.

The patch is no longer beta and is live on PC. http://www.cinemable...w-PC-53755.html

But I didn't have to read that page to find out, I only searched for confirmation of the auto-update I received today.

So now the 1.9 patch is live does this mean I can uninstall the "unofficial patches" as I have heard the 1.9 patch contains all the same fixes ?

Hate to be that guy, but I was wondering how to revert back to 1.8 so I can play until my mods are patched?
