Or instead leave all the stuff you use, and kill all those trees that you never really intended to buff, but were forced to because you needed to keep leveling to raise another tree you do wanted.

NOOO!! They're patching out the Oghma Infinium exploit! D: It was the only way I could max out my characters without hours upon hours of monotonous grinding!
New Legendary difficulty sounds interesting, though I'm not entirely sure I understand the Legendary Skills thing. Still, at least I won't run into any more naked couriers wanting to deliver their packages into my hands only.

Amazing patch incoming. Too bad need to wait to get all mods to work with the new patch.

The Level Cap is 65535, was still that way if you had mods like uncapped skills and such.

I think you guys are misinterpreting what MoonRaven is saying. According to the site he's referring to, making a skill "Legendary" isn't just taking all the progress you've made an tossing it out the window (essentially what prestige-ing in CoD does). You're getting skill points back when you make a skill Legendary, and on top of that you can accumulate new skill points when you level up the tree again.
As of now, you can level all you skills to 100 and still not have all the perks because you run out of skill points to distribute. All this patch is doing is letting you get more skill points so your character can still progress even after hes dinged 81. This is a good thing for people who put a lot of time into their characters and don't want to use mods or cheats to get all the perks.

quest != mod
use this for mod savegame cleaning http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31675/
or
"Please, try ClearInvalidRegistrations from the new SKSE beta instead of using this method."
